Introduction: The Progress Card serves as a comprehensive record of a student’s academic, personal, and social development during the academic year. It is not merely a scorecard but a comprehensive reflection of the student’s performance, competencies, participation, attendance, and well-being. The goal is to ensure a balanced evaluation that supports and guides students toward continuous improvement. These guidelines are intended to provide guidance to Junior Lecturers and Principals for filling the progress card accurately.

Student’s mental health status needs to be filled based on emotional stability, classroom behaviour and social interaction. This has to be filled separately for 1st half and 2nd half of AY 2025-26. Please refer the below table for mentioning grade for each indicator:

Based on the grading, the class in-charge Lecturer must give overall remarks for 1st half of the AY and 2nd half of the AY 2025-26 about the student on mental health status. Please refer to the following table:

Competitive Exams: This section should record the student’s participation and performance in competitive exam practice tests or entrance exam mocks and this section is only limited to Science subject students only (i.e., MPC and BiPC). For the remaining groups students this section is not applicable. Hence it may be mentioned as NA.

Attendance Summary:
- For each student, enter the total Working Days and the actual Days Attended for every month from April to February in the designated columns of the progress card. Based on the entries, calculate the Attendance Percentage (%) for each month using the formula:
Attendance % = (Days Attended ÷ Working Days) × 100
- The monthly attendance data must be accurate and reflect the student’s presence throughout the academic year.
Note: As per the norms of the Board of Intermediate Education, a minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory for academic eligibility.
Holistic Observations: Holistic development is critical for shaping a student’s personality, life skills, and social-emotional well-being. It complements academic growth and helps build responsible, confident, and well-rounded individuals. In the Holistic Competency Profile (HCP) section of the Progress Card, students must be graded and remarked upon in key developmental areas such as communication, leadership, values, environmental awareness, arts, sports, and more. Talliki Vandanam: The Talliki Vandanam scheme, launched by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, provides financial support to mothers for their children's intermediate education. To monitor its implementation at the student level, key details such as beneficiary status, number of siblings covered, and the total amount received are recorded in the Holistic Progress Card (HPC). This ensures transparency and helps track the scheme’s reach effectively.
