The attention of all the Regional Joint Directors and District Educational Officers in the state is invited to the references read above and they are informed that the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Andhra Pradesh, will organize quiz competitions for the year 2025-26, under Rastriya Avishkar Abhiyan (RAA) initiative aligned with the spell Bee Competitions, in collaboration with the Word Power Championship conducted by Vibha – LFW in the following categories :

For Primary grades 2to 5 competitions at Mandal and district levels will be held online by SCERT in Collaboration with Vibha Leap For Word (LFW) Utilisation of Funds: ₹1,00,000/- sanctioned per district
District-Level Expenditure:
- District Educational Officers (DEOs) shall utilise 80% of the sanctioned amount for District-level competitions.
Zonal-Level Expenditure:
- Remaining 20% of the district-sanctioned budget shall be utilised for conducting Zonal-level competitions by the respective Zone & districts. This amount will cover expenses for arrangements, Lunch, transportation jury honorarium, and participation costs. It also includes payment of TA/DA, Certificates and mementoes
General Guidelines
- All competitions must be conducted in a fair, transparent, and uniform manner.
- Evaluation should be based on accuracy, clarity, reading fluency, and comprehension.
- Schools and organisers must ensure safe and student-friendly environments.
- Certificates must be issued to winners at every level.
- Media coverage may be encouraged at higher levels to promote the initiative. No Child shall be deprived from the competition.
Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers are instructed to take necessary action to successfully organize the Spell be Quiz Competitions at School, Mandal, District and Zonal Levels as per the above guidelines. They shall also ensure that the competitions are conducted in the successful way without giving any scope for adversaries.
