It is hereby notified that the State Level National Means-cum Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination for class VIII for the academic year 2022-23 will be conducted and the examination date will be announced later. The Examination conducted in Telugu, Urdu and English medium at all Revenue Divisional Head Quarters of 26 Districts in the State.

With reference to the subject cited, I wish to inform you that as per the guidelines of Ministry of Education, New Delhi, the Government Andhra Pradesh State is Conducting National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination for the students those who are studying VIII Class in Government, ZP, Municipal, Aided Schools and Model Schools (without residential facility). For this year the annual parental income is enhanced from Rs.1,50,000/- to Rs.3,50,000/-.

In this connection, I wish to bring to your notice that there is a decline in the number of students taking the said examination from your district. The scheme is meant for the students of below poverty. A total of 4087 scholarships were allotted to the state and based on the child population and enrollment of the students for class VII and VIII, these scholarships will be distributed district wise and redistributed category wise according to the state Government norms.

In view of the above I request you to kindly issue instructions to all Head Masters concerned to bring awareness among the students to ensure more registrations for National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination from Government High Schools, ZP High Schools, Municipal High Schools, Model Schools (without residential facility) and Aided High Schools and give wide publicity through Print, Electronic and Social Media in your District.

The applications will be received through online procedure only.

ELIGIBILITY: A candidate who has/is

(i) Scored at least 55% of marks in case of OC/BC and 50% of marks in case of SC/ST or equivalent grade i.e., B+ for all categories in class VII Examination studied during the year 2021-22.

(ii) Studying in Government, Local Body (ZP/Municipal), Government Aided, AP Model (day scholars only) and MPUP (Running 8th class) schools only.

(iii) Whose parental annual income (both Parents put together) is below Rs.3,50,000/- from all sources for which candidates have to produce latest original Annual Income Certificate issued by the MRO, in case of Private employee and certificate issued by the employer in case of Government employee.

(iv) Candidate has to submit the original caste certificate and also Income certificate (issued by the MRO) to the Headmaster.

Examination fee is Rs.100/- for OC and BC students & Rs. 50/- for SC and ST students. The examination fee has to be paid through SBI Collect only (follow user guide available in website www.bse.ap.gov.in).

PRESS NOTE

It is hereby notified that the due dates for payment of National Means cum Merit Scholarship Examination fee and submission of Nominal roll along with fee receipts by the head masters. The above said Examination is for class VIII studying students.

The following are the due dates for remittance of examination fee and for submission of applications:

a) Application online submission from: 30-09-2022

b) Payment may be made from: 06-10-2022

c) Last date for upload the candidate's application by the concerned Head Masters: 15-11-2022

d) Last date for payment of examination fee: 31-10@-2022

e) Last date for submission of printed nominal rolls along with other enclosures in the O/o the District Educational Office concerned by the School HMs: 19-11-2022

f)  Last date to approve the applications at DEO login: -11-2022

2022-23వ సంవత్సరం లో జరగనున్న నేషనల్ మీన్స్ కమ్ మెరిట్ స్కాలర్షిప్ పరీక్ష (NMMS) కొరకు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రం లోని 8 వ తరగతి చదువుతున్న విద్యార్థుల నుండి దరఖాస్తులు ఆహ్వానించబడుచున్నవి. ఈ పరీక్ష వ్రాయుటకు రాష్ట్రం లోని ప్రభుత్వ, జిల్లా పరిషత్, మునిసిపల్, ఎయిడెడ్, 8వ తరగతి నడపబడుచున్న మండల పరిషత్ ప్రాథమికోన్నత పాఠశాలలు మరియు వసతి సౌకర్యం లేని ఆంద్రప్రదేశ్ ఆదర్శ పాఠశాలలలో 8 వ తరగతి చదువుచున్న విద్యార్ధులు అర్హులు. పరీక్ష రుసుము జనరల్ మరియు బి.సి విద్యార్ధులకు రూ.100/- మరియు యస్.సి, యస్.టి విద్యార్ధులకు రూ. 50/-లు. దరఖాస్తులను ఆన్లైన్లో 30-09-2022 నుండి స్వీకరించబడును. ఆన్ లైను లో దరఖాస్తు చేసుకొనుటకు చివరి తేదీ 15-11-2022 మరియు పరీక్ష రుసుము చెల్లించుటకు చివరి తేదీ 15-11-2022. పూర్తి వివరముల కొరకు ప్రభుత్వ పరీక్షల సంచాలకుల కార్యాలయపు వెబ్ సైటు www.bse.ap.gov.in నందు మరియు సంబంధిత జిల్లా విద్యాశాఖాధికారి కార్యాలయంలో తెలుసుకొనగలరు అని ప్రభుత్వ పరీక్షల సంచాలకులు తెలియజేసారు.

Information can be obtained from the concerned School Head Master/ District Educational Officer. The application forms should be uploaded online in the website "www.bse.ap.gov.in". Before filling the application form, the headmaster should go through the guidelines given in the website www.bseap.org. The information shall be available in www.bseap.org website also.
