ORDER:
The attention of the Project Officers and District Educational Officers in the CRDA districts are invited to the reference cited, the Constitution of India has assured that Elementary Education is a fundamental right of the child as per the 86th Constitutional amendment the Children who are in the age group of 6 - 14 years should have Eight years of free and compulsory Education in the Country.
Accordingly the Government of India and the Government of Andhra Pradesh have taken many steps to strengthen the Elementary Education by providing access, appointment of teachers, Quality Education, infrastructure facilities.
However, as per the data of Child Info and various surveys conducted by different organizations state that there are many Children not coming to School in the School age group and simply they are involved various activities like stone gathering, brick work ,Rag Pickers etc., As per the child info there are 48,544 Out of School Children in CRDA Mandals of Krishna District and 53,679 Out of School Children are identified in CRDA Mandals of Guntur District. In view of the above the State Project Director, AP SSA has strongly desired that has to be declared as OSC Free Amravati by the end of this month by conducting various programmes like special drives, rallies and by sensitization of community.
Keeping consideration of available OSC data herewith forwarded for District Project officers for verification of OSC by the three man committee consisting of School Head Master, Complex Head Master and Mandal Education Officer and the same has to be sent to this office after through verification of the data by 8.03.2017 without fail ➧Download Detailed Proceeding Copy
