DR Arrears Payment Schedule
Arrears for 20 months, from 01-01-2025 to 31-08-2026, will be paid in four stages:

Who Is Eligible?
- Government pensioners receiving service pension or family pension under the pension rules specified in the GO.
- Persons who retired after 01-07-2018 and draw pension under Revised Pay Scales, 2022.
- Persons who retired before 01-07-2018 whose pension was consolidated under the applicable RPS 2022 orders.
- Teaching and non-teaching pensioners of Municipalities, Panchayat Raj Institutions and aided educational institutions covered by the specified pension rules.
- Eligible aided educational institution pensioners under the CPF-cum-Pension and Gratuity Rules, 1961.
- Eligible family, compassionate, wound and extraordinary pension recipients specified in the order.
- Pensioners governed by the Andhra Pradesh Revised Pension Rules, 1980.
Not applicable: Financial assistance grantees and others who are not entitled to Dearness Relief.
Implementation Instructions
- Treasury Officers and Pension Payment Officers shall calculate and pay the sanctioned DR without waiting for further authorization from the Accountant General.
- For categories not paid through Treasuries, expenditure shall be debited to the concerned Zilla Parishad or Municipal Council Pension Fund.
- University pensioners’ DR expenditure shall be met from the Block Grants allotted to the universities.
- APCFSS shall provide CFMS functionality to calculate DR arrears and generate due-drawn statements for arrears bills.
