What is the PRASHAST App?
PRASHAST is used to support school-level screening activities. Before screening begins, the Headmaster must register in the mobile application, verify the school profile and confirm the number of classes, students and teachers.

Step-by-Step PRASHAST Headmaster Signup & Login
How to Verify School Information
After successful login, tap Verify Your School. Open and verify each of the following three cards:
- Total Number of Classes: Confirm all classes available in the school.
- Total Number of Students: Verify total enrolment and review class-wise student data where required.
- Total Number of Teachers: Confirm the total number of teachers working in the school.
If School Data is Incorrect
- Do not ignore incorrect or outdated school information displayed in PRASHAST.
- Update the relevant data in the UDISE+ Portal on or before 17 September 2026.
- Updates completed by the deadline are expected to appear in PRASHAST from 18 September 2026.
- After synchronization, the Headmaster can assign PRASHAST Part-1 screening to school teachers.
