AP Schools Time Table and Weightage Tables 2026-27
Satellite
Foundational School (PP1 & PP2): All
standalone Anganwadi Centers and Anganwadi Centers beyond 1 KM distance (to the
nearest primary schools) will function as Satellite Foundational School but
functionally integrated with a Foundational School. The Anganwadi worker will
impart instruction for PP1 and PP2.
Foundational
School (PP1, PP2, Class 1 & 2): PP 1 &
PP 2 in Anganwadi Centers (within 1 KM radius to nearest Primary School) and
Anganwadi Centers co-located in schools along with the classes 1, 2 of primary
schools will constitute a Foundational School. Secondary Grade Teachers will
impart instruction to class 1 and 2, while Anganwadi worker will impart
instruction for PP1 and PP2.
Basic Primary
School (PP1, PP2, Class 1 to 5): All the Primary
Schools having enrolment up to 59 in classes 1 to 5 are Basic Primary Schools.
Secondary Grade Teachers will impart instruction to classes 1 to 5, while
Anganwadi worker will impart instruction for PP1 and PP2.
Model Primary
School (PP1, PP2, Class 1 to 5): All the
Primary Schools having enrolment more than or equal to 60 in classes 1 to 5 are
Model Primary Schools. Secondary Grade Teachers will impart instruction to
classes 1 to 5, while Anganwadi worker will impart instruction for PP1 and PP2.
Upper Primary
School (PP1, PP2, Class 1 to 8): Classes 1 to
5 will function as a Basic Primary School/ Model Primary School as per the
strength. Students of 6th to 8th classes will
be taught by School Assistants / Secondary Grade teachers, while Anganwadi
worker will impart instruction for PP1 and PP2.
High School
(Classes 6 to 10): Classes 6 to 10 will function as a High
School. Students of all (5) classes will be taught by School Assistants.
High School
(Classes 1 to 10): Classes 1 to 10 will function as a High
School. Students of 1st to 5th classes will be
taught by Secondary Grade Teachers. Students of 6th to 10th classes
will be taught by School Assistants. The Head Master of the High School will
draw a time table for 1 to 10 and allocate work distribution among the teachers
working in the present high school.
High School Plus
(Classes 6 to 12): Classes 6 to 12 will function as a High
School Plus. Students of all (7) classes will be taught by School Assistants.
The Head Master of the High School Plus will draw a time table for 6 to 12 and
allocate work distribution among the teachers working in the present High
School Plus.
High School Plus
(Classes 1 to 12): Classes 1 to 12 will function as a High
School Plus. Students of 1st to 5th classes
will be taught by Secondary Grade teachers. Students of 6th to
12th classes will be taught by School Assistants. The Head
Master of the High School Plus will draw a time table for 1 to 12 and allocate
work distribution among the teachers working in the present High School Plus.

1 to 5 Classes Subject Wise Weightage for Foundation
Schools:
- TaRL
Program (practise) for 3, 4, 5 classes should be conducted for 2 hours
every day. (Either morning / afternoon sessions) as per the
convenience.
- The
first period of every day in each class should be dedicated to teaching
basic skills such as reading, writing and arithmetic from classes 1 to
5.
- The
last period of every week for each subject should be dedicated to remedial
teaching for that specific subject for all classes.
Mandatory
Activities:
- Conduct Class wise/whole school Mathematical Tables drilling in the first 5 minutes of Maths periods every day.
- Conduct oral Mathematics practice every day.
- Conduct oral drilling on Days in a week, names of the Months, names of the Years, Directions and Corners, names of the Thidhulu, Nakshatralu, Raasulu, Seasons every day evening.
- Conduct paper cuttings, Clay modeling, Drawing, Singing, Dancing, Gardening, etc Activities on 'NO BAG DAY' for 1 to 5 Classes.
- Practice good hand writting (Cursive Writing) every day in the language periods.
- Conduct Art & Cultural Activities as per the syllabus.
- Conduct English Language Lab Activities particularly for Listening and Speaking twice in a week in English periods by using google read along app
- Conduct Perfomance activities - Reciting poems and Narrating stories as per the syllabus given.
Daily 2-Mark Practice Questions for Skill Enhancement in PRIMARY school children
To enhance
stadents' writing skills, answer presentation, memory retention, and overall
academic performance, a structured daily activity is introduced for all
classes. As part of this initiative, students will practice two 2-mark questions
every day based on the subject scheduled: Monday-Telugu
Tuesday English Wednesday Mathematics Thursday-EVS
Guidelines for Implementation:
Advance
Declaration: Subject teachers must announce the 2-mark questions at
least one day in advance to allow students to prepare mentally and organize
their study.
2. Scheduled Practice Time: Teachers will assign a specific, suitable time
during the school day to conduct this writing activity.
3. Timely
Corrections: All responses must be evaluated and returned by the next day,
ensuring timely feedback and learning.

Objective: This activity aims to:

- Entrepreneurial Mindset Development Programme (EMDP)-Business & innovation concepts
- Career Guidance - Counselling and future career awareness
- Value Education - Moral and ethical development (As per the suggestions of the Brahmasri Chaganti Koteswara Rao sir)
Subject Periods as per Academic Calendar
- In general allocate periods based on the weightage provided in the academic calendar prescribed by the SCERT
- Maintain a balanced distribution of core subjects, ensuring that no subject is overburdened or neglected.
Leisure Chart (Floating Schedule for Library & Games)
- Headmasters must prepare a Leisure Chart with flexible time slots for:
- Library Periods - At least one period per week for all classes to encourage reading habits.
- Physical Education & Games - Ensure structured sports activities.
- Creative & Recreational Activities - Art, music, and hobby-based sessions.
- This chart should be floating to ensure all students get equal opportunities.
- Inclusive Education (IE) Support for students with special needs (CWSN)
- Mental and Health Counsellors
- Actizen (Active Citizenship Education) - Civic responsibility and social awareness
- Coordinate with the instructors assigned to these subjects and adjust periods accordingly.
