All the RJDSEs, District Educational officers & Ex-Officio Project Coordinators and Additional Project Coordinators, Samagra Shiksha in the State are informed that the Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) is a key initiative aimed at strengthening the bonding among parents, teachers, and the school. It helps parents understand their children's academic and behavioral levels, as well as their awareness of societal issues. Additionally, it serves as a platform for teachers to seek cooperation from parents for the benefit of students and for parents to learn what kind of support is needed from teachers.

 

The Government of Andhra Pradesh successfully organized a state-wide Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting (MPTM) on a single notified day, i.e., 07.12.2024, across the State. This landmark initiative, the first of its kind in the country, received significant national recognition.

 

Building on this success, the Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting 2.0 (MPTM 2.0) was organized for the Academic Year 2025–26 on 5th July 2025 in all Government, Aided and Private schools and Junior Colleges across the state of Andhra Pradesh in a grand and coordinated manner. The State has received the Guinness World Record titled "Largest Attendance at a Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting 2.0 (Multiple Venues)" for this event on 05.09.2025.

 

Further, the RJDSEs, DEOs and APCs in the State are informed that the Government has decided to organize Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting 3.0 (MPTM 3.0) for the Academic Year 2025–26 on 5th December 2025 in all Government schools and Junior Colleges across Andhra Pradesh in a grand and coordinated manner.

 

In view of the above, the Minute-to-Minute programme schedule and Guidelines are issued and enclosed here with these proceedings to RJDSEs, DEOs and APCs. Hence, they are directed to disseminate the same to all the DyEOs, MEOs, Principals and HMs to plan for necessary action.

 

The RJDSEs in the state are further requested to coordinate with the DEOs and APCs in their jurisdiction to meet the objectives set forth for conducting Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting 3.0 on a single notified day i.e., on 05.12.2025.

All parents will be seated along with their students in their respective Classrooms.  Public Representatives, Philanthropists and Alumni will be seated in the HM room.
9:30 AM To 10:50 AM	80 Min	One-on-one Interaction (The class teacher will discuss the following with the parents of the students at the designated desk in the corridor):                 Discussion on HPC with Parents.   Explanation of Assessment Booklet to parents       Dissemination of the student’s FLN baseline level to the parents.    Discussion on the child’s progress according to NIPUN goals and a request for parental support after school hours. (The other students and parents would be seated inside the classrooms and would be engaged by the class leader / active students on the following activities watching videos through TV/IFPs.) Video on LEAP App Installation and Registration by Parents.
