Read the following:
1. The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
2. From the Director, WDAT&SC, A.P., Vijayawada, Lr. No. D2/297/2017, Dt: 08.12.2019.
Whereas, the Parliament enacted the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (Central Act 49 of 2016) which received the President's assent on 27th day of December, 2016 and was subsequently published in the official Gazette of the Central Government on the 28th day of December, 2016;
And whereas the Central Government, through an official Gazette notification brought the said Act into effect on the 19th day of April, 2017;
And whereas sub-section (1) of section 101 of the said Act requires the State Government to make rules for carrying out the provisions of the Act;
Now, therefore, the following Notification will be published in the Extra Ordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, Dated: 19.04.2023.
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 101 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (Central Act 49 of 2016), the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following rules, namely:

10. Certification of Specified Disabilities
11. State Advisory Board on Disability
12. State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities
13. Public Prosecutor
14. State Fund for Persons with Disabilities
