APSS Aamaravati - IE Activities - Release of Budget for Organisation of International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) on 3rd December, 2022 at Mandal Level - Sanction orders issued - Reg Rc.No: SS-23021/75/2022-IED KGBV-SSA, Date: 20/11/2022

 

Read: PAB Minutes of Annual Work Plan & Budget (AWP&B) 2022-23 of Samagra Shiksha, dt.10th June, 2022.

 

The attention of all the Ex-Officio District Project Coordinators and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are invited to the reference cited and are informed that the State Project Director, Samagra Shiskha, A.P., Amaravati pleased to accord permission to sanction and release an amount of Rs. 27,16,000 (Rupees Twenty seven Lakhs Sixteen thousand rupees only) to organising International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) on 3rd December, 2022 at Mandal Level under the component Environment Building programmes (sub component 199.5 mentioned in PAB Minutes) to Children with Special Needs that are studying from Class 1 to Class 10th in Government Schools and Government aided Schools in the State of Andhra Pradesh (26 districts) as follows:-

Further they are instructed to organise cultural activities and games for Children with Special Needs who are studying in Government, Government aided and Government recognised schools at block level from 29th November, 2022 to 2nd December, 2022 and organise International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) at mandal level on 3rd December, 2022 for creating awareness among Community members on the theme “Transformative solutions for inclusive development and the role of innovation in fuelling an accessible and equitable world”. The following activities will be conducted for CwSN as per the above schedule.

Eligibility:

 

Students of classes 1 to 10th of any Government and Government Aided schools can participate in the programme (International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD)-2022).

 

Monitoring:

District Level: 
  • International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) will be conducted on 3rd December, 2022 under the supervision of the District IE and Asst.IE Coordinator who will monitor and supervise the programme.
  • The IE Coordinator shall submit documentation report to SPO after completion of the IDPD Programme
  • The Assistant IE Coordinator shall cooperate with the IE Coordinator for smooth conduct of the programme as per the given instructions

Roles and Responsibilities of District Authorities: Ex-Officio Project Coordinators:

  • Involve other line department i.e. Health and Family Welfare Department and Disabled Welfare Departments for making the programme grand success.
  • Conducting one day teleconference in with District authorities that include Additional Project Coordinator, District IE & Assistant IE Coordinator and Mandal Education Officers (MEOs) etc regarding celebrations of International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) at Mandal Level.
  • Select best PETs for organizing cultural activities and sports for CwSN at block level as per given schedule.
  • Monitoring the programme strictly and obtaining information regarding mandal wise progress

Roles and Responsibilities of Additional Project Coordinators:

  • Instructing District IE and Assistant IE coordinators that are working in their respective districts for successfully organizing the
  • Prepare an action plan on celebrating of International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) at Mandal level

Roles and Responsibilities of MEOs:

  • The Mandal Education Officer will monitor the entire programme and submit remarks to the district Ex-Officio Project Coordinator and Additional Project Coordinator with documentation and evidence.

Roles and Responsibilities of District IE Coordinators:

  • Prepare documentation report of your respective districts regarding on International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) and send it to SPO
  • Instruct IERPs for inviting parents of CwSN and dignitaries working in mandal level to the programme
  • Visit mandals on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) day and interact with parents of CwSN and collect their feedback regarding this programme along with documentation.

Roles and responsibilities of Special Educators under IEDSS:

  • The special Educators that are working under IEDSS will attend the programme and make it grand success

Roles and responsibilities of IERPs:

  • Coordinating with line departments and Special Educators under IEDSS that are working in the field of inclusive education in your mandal and do the programme successfully
  • The IERPs must follow Covid-19 precautions and same should be communicating to all the participants.
  • Press coverage of programme

All the Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha are requested to release an amount of Rs.4,000/- (Rupees four thousand only) to the Mandal Educational Officers (MEOs) for organization of International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) on 3rd December,2022 directly to their bank accounts through PFMS duly uploading the expenditure in Prabhandh Portal under Environment Building Programmes component in Elementary level for the academic year 2022-23 immediately and submit the compliance report to this office.
