Which offices and posts does GO 157 cover?
The order covers posts filled on tenure from local cadres in the Directorate’s Head of Department office, special offices or establishments, and state-level offices or institutions. Under paragraph 12(1) of Finance G.O.Ms.No.46, these posts count towards the strength of the respective local cadre. GO 157 continues the broader allocation issued on the same date. The annexure explains why working strength can exceed cadre strength. For employee allotment under G.O.Ms.No.129, the working count includes personnel serving outside cadre strength on deputation, foreign service and similar arrangements.

Implementation and payroll
The Director of School Education will take further action under the Presidential Order, 2025. Paragraph 7 directs the Director of Treasuries and Accounts and the CEO of APCFSS to update CFMS and Nidhi payroll accordingly.
