Read: Academic Calendar for the year 2026-27.
The attention of all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and the District Educational Officers in the State is invited to the reference read above, and they are informed that the Academic Calendar for the the year 2026-27 has already been communicated. Further, the tentative schedule of the Self-Assessment Model Paper –I (FA-1) examinations has already been incorporated into the Academic Calendar.
The finalized schedule, along with a detailed timetable, exam pattern are as follows.

They are further informed that the following guidelines are to be followed for the smooth conduction of examinations:
- Question papers will be stored securely at the school complex for 1st to 5th classes and at MRC for 6th to 10th classes.
- The Mandal Education Officers (MEOs) 1 and 2 and School complex headmasters will be the custodians of the preserved papers.
- Question paper bundles will be handed over to the concerned schools only one hour prior to the commencement of the examination in each session. School complex HM and MEOs must ensure the integrity of the question papers. They, along with Cluster Resource Persons (CRPs), should visit schools during examination hours to verify that the examinations are being conducted smoothly and fairly.
- In case of any untoward incidents, School complex HMs, MEOs and CRPs should report immediately to higher officials.
- MEOs and CRPs should focus on monitoring examination conduction procedures in both private and government-managed schools.
- The syllabus is enclosed as Annexure I.
- The Assessment pattern for the academic year 2026 -27 is also enclosed as Annexure II.
Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and the District Educational Officers are requested to take necessary action accordingly. Any deviations found in the procedure will be viewed seriously.
