The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the State is invited to the references read above and they are informed that the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). New Delhi is organising Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2026-27 programme by Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) in collaboration with NCERT and the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM).

 

They are further informed that VVM is a national-level science talent search examination aimed at nurturing scientific aptitude among students studying in Classes VI to XI and promoting scientific temper, innovation, and awareness of India's scientific heritage in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

విద్యార్థి విజ్ఞాన్ మంథన్ (VVM) అనేది 6 నుండి 11వ తరగతి విద్యార్థుల కోసం విజ్ఞాన భారతి (VIBHA) నిర్వహించే ఒక జాతీయ స్థాయి సైన్స్ ప్రతిభా అన్వేషణ కార్యక్రమం. ఇది భారతదేశంలో స్వచ్ఛమైన విజ్ఞాన శాస్త్రం పట్ల అవగాహన కల్పించి, ప్రతిభను వెలికితీయడానికి, మరియు శాస్త్రీయ ఆలోచనలను పెంపొందించడానికి ఉద్దేశించబడింది. ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని సైన్స్ అండ్ టెక్నాలజీ విభాగం లోని విజ్ఞాన్ ప్రసార్ మరియు విద్యా మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలోని NCERT సహకారంతో VIBHA నిర్వహిస్తుంది.

Further informed that the programme provides opportunities for students to participate in School Level, State Level and National Level scientific activities, besides offering scholarships, internships and exposure visits to premier scientific institutions.

 

They are further informed that the examination will be conducted in major Indian languages including English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Odia, Assamese, Sanskrit, Punjabi and Urdu.

Levels of Competition

Level-I: School Level Examination

• Online examination conducted for registered students.

Level-II: State Level Camp (SLC)

• Top-performing students from each class at State level will participate in State Level Camps involving activities, observations, problem-solving exercises and scientific assessments.

Level-Ill: National Camp (NC)

• Top students selected from State Level Camps will participate in National Level activities focusing on scientific understanding, creativity, innovation. leadership, and aptitude.

Scholarships and Internships

Bhaskara Scholarship

• National winners (Himalayans) will receive scholarship support of Rs.2,000 per month for one year, subject to performance assessment.

Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational officers are hereby requested to:

1. Disseminate the information regarding Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2026-27 to all eligible students studying in Classes VI to Xl.
2. Encourage interested students to register for the examination before the prescribed deadline.
3. Display the programme brochure and related information on school notice
4. Facilitate awareness among parents and students regarding the objectives and benefits of the programme
5. Extend necessary cooperation for successful implementation of the programme.
