Note: For the First Year regular students in the academic year 2025 - 26, the Geography question paper will be prepared for 75 marks, and the total will be aggregated to 85 marks, as the syllabus and Q.P pattern remains unchanged. (As per the new reforms, Geography is considered as an elective subject and also includes practical exams on par with Physics, Chemistry and Biology). For Geography practical exams, the assessment will be conducted for 50 marks and later aggregated to 30 marks. For this purpose, a minimum of 35% in the practical exam will be considered equivalent to 11 marks, and a minimum of 30% will be considered equivalent to 9 marks. This consideration applies only to students admitted as regular candidates in the academic year 2025 - 26.
