AP Inter Validation Rules 2025-26 onwards, Inter Max, Minimum Marks and Password mark for 1st Year and 2nd Year, Validation Rules for 1st and 2nd year Intermediate students from the academic year 2025-26 and onwards

The Validation rules as per the new Curriculum are as follows:

  • A Candidate is declared as passed in the 1st year /2nd year examination if he/she gets a minimum of 30% marks in each paper and 35% aggregate in one attempt.
  • 1st Year and 2nd year Subject-wise Maximum & Minimum Marks for revised curriculum for General candidates from the academic year 2025-26 and 2026-27 onwards as follows.

*indicates Changed Maximum Marks from academic year 2025-26 onwards.

 

Note: For the First Year regular students in the academic year 2025 - 26, the Geography question paper will be prepared for 75 marks, and the total will be aggregated to 85 marks, as the syllabus and Q.P pattern remains unchanged. (As per the new reforms, Geography is considered as an elective subject and also includes practical exams on par with Physics, Chemistry and Biology). For Geography practical exams, the assessment will be conducted for 50 marks and later aggregated to 30 marks. For this purpose, a minimum of 35% in the practical exam will be considered equivalent to 11 marks, and a minimum of 30% will be considered equivalent to 9 marks. This consideration applies only to students admitted as regular candidates in the academic year 2025 - 26.
