School Education No Access to School Premises for unauthorized persons except parents and SMC members-Certain Instructions - Issued RC.No.30/67/2025-A&I. Dated:01.08.2025
Attention of all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education (RJDSES) and District Educational Officers (DEOs) in the State is invited to the subject cited above. It has come to the notice of the undersigned that unauthorized individuals. and groups are entering school premises without prior permission from the Head of the Institution. Such unauthorized entry even for giving gifts/ donations to the students/ schools, except by parents and School Management Committee (SMC) members, which are causing disruptions to the ongoing academic activities are not permitted.
In order to prevent such unauthorized entry and to ensure uninterrupted continuation of academic instruction in the schools, the following instructions shall be implemented with immediate effect:
Restricted Entry:
- No individual or group, other than parents or members of the SMC, shall be permitted entry into the school premises under any circumstances. If any contributions or materials in kind are to be given, they shall be submitted directly to the Headmaster/Headmistress (HM) without interacting with children or entering the classrooms.
- Photographs with children are strictly prohibited.
Redressal of Grievances:
All grievances, complaints, or requests are to be submitted only to the Administrative Office. Staff and students should not engage directly with external individuals or organizations for grievance-related matters.
Prohibition of Political Symbols:
The display of any political symbols or materials, including flags, shawls, banners, or posters related to political parties or organizations are strictly prohibited within school premises.
Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education (RJDSES) and District Educational Officers (DEOs) in the State are herewith directed to issue clear and strict instructions to all Heads of Institutions and field functionaries under their jurisdiction to ensure strict compliance with the above guidelines. Any violations are to be reported to the undersigned with immediate effect.
