All the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are informed that the State government is prioritizing foundational literacy and numeracy as part of aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and other key frameworks. This focus on early childhood care and education (ECCE) is crucial for ensuring that children develop essential skills at a young age.
In this context a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing the skills of Grade 1 and 2 teachers through a structured 60-day certificate course. This collaboration between the Department of School Education, Samagra Shiksha, and ASER (Pratham) emphasizes a blended learning approach, combining both offline and online training methods. This flexibility can help accommodate various teaching environments and learning styles, ultimately aiming to improve the quality of education in early grades over the course of three years.
Accordingly, a comprehensive training initiative is take-up by the department for enhancing the teaching skills among the secondary teachers. The 60-day certificate course (Gnana Prakash) for Year 1 has been completed successfully and it is proposed to initiate the Year 2 trainings for 208 Key Resource Persons (KRPs), 2000 District Resource Persons (DRPs) and 34000 Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs). In the Year 2 training Play Based Pedagogy, English, Math Games, Community Engagement, Age-Appropriate Assessments and Inclusive Education. KRPs training is being conducted in Maris Stella College for 208 KRPs in the first phase at state level from 19.05.2025 to 24.05.2025 for 6 days in residential mode and DRPs training is scheduled from 27.05.2025 to 01.06.2025 for 6 days in residential mode at Regional Level and SGTs will be trained at district level for Year 2 Gnana Prakash Certificate Course.
In this regard all the RJDSEs, DEOs and APCs are instructed issue the necessary proceedings and instruct the MEOs and AMOs to depute the 208 KRPs and 2000 DRPs in their respective venues and relieve them for the Year 2 Gnana Prakash certificate course training scheduled from 27.05.2025 to 01.06.2025 for 6 days in residential mode at 8 regional venues across the state.
The DEO and APC in the state are instructed to depute their team to facilitate the smooth conduct and successful completion of the 6-day Year 2 KRPs training in residential mode, to be held at regional level across the state in coordination with the venue vendor.

The roles and responsibilities at the district level are proposed as below:
- The District Educational Officer (DEO) where the venue is located in the respective district will serve as the Chairman of the training program, ensuring its smooth execution. They will coordinate with DIET principals, District Academic Monitoring Officers (AMOs), Girl Child Development Officers (GCDOs), Inclusive Education Coordinators (IECo), Alternative School Coordinators (ALS Co), and clerical staff in the DEO office to facilitate effective training for DRPs. This collaboration is essential for organizing logistics, addressing any issues that arise, and ensuring that the DRP training meets its objectives.
- The District Educational Officers should ensure that the assigned DRPs are deputed to the training program from their respective districts.
- AMOs where the venues are located has to look after the logistics, arrangements and other essentials required at the venues timely.
- Each venue will have 4 in charges overseeing various aspects including coordination with vendors, food arrangements, technical support, accommodation, stationery and sanitation.
- Concerned RJDs and DEOs are instructed to conduct the preparatory meetings with AMOs, ASOs, GCDOs, IECo, ALSCo and MEOs to send the participants to the mapped venues without fail.
- Monitoring committee to be formed at every venue with the mapped district officials for monitoring the facilities and observe the sessions.
- IFP Pannels should be installed by the DNOs (District Nodal Officer) with coordination of IFP vendors in each classroom and DEOs should make a follow up on this, four (04) DRPs should be allotted for each classroom and 2 MEOs for each venue
- 4 PETs (2 male and 2 female PETs) should be allotted in each venue for conducting the extracurricular activities.
- Mobile phones should be deposited in the classroom by keeping them in silent mode and it can be used only in break times.
- Maheshwar Reddy, Teacher Training in charge of Samagra Shiksha, AP will be coordinating with logistics facilities across all the Venues in the state for successful completion of trainings.
- K. Nageswara Rao, J.D, SAMO will be visiting all the venues to check the quality of the trainings across the state.
The District Educational Officers & Ex-Officio Project Coordinators, Samagra Shiksha and the Additional Project Coordinators, Samagra Shiksha in the state are hereby instructed to follow the above instructions scrupulously and depute the allotted DRPs and KRPs for smooth conduct of the DRP training in the said schedules.
