Inviting Online Application Forms for Joint Entrance Examination (Main) ± 2024 - Reg.
The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) to the NTA from 2019 onwards.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE (Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.
For Academic Session 2024-25, it has been decided that the JEE (Main) ± 2024 will be conducted in two Sessions i.e. Session 1 (January 2024) and Session 2 (April 2024). The details for the Session 1 (January 2024) are given below:

JEE (Main) - 2024 will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
A candidate has the option to apply for one Session or for both Sessions (Session 1 and Session 2 of 2024) together and pay the exam fee accordingly. In other words, if a candidate wishes to apply only for Session 1, he/she has to pay the Examination Fee only for Session 1 during the current application period and will have the opportunity to apply again for Session 2 (April 2024) when the application window for Session 2 will be re-opened as per the details available in the Information Bulletin and will also be notified separately through a Public Notice.

జాయింట్ ఎంట్రన్స్ ఎగ్జామినేషన్ (జేఈఈ) మెయిన్-2024 తొలి విడత పరీక్షలను జనవరి 24వ తేదీ నుంచి, చివరి విడతను ఏప్రిల్ 1 నుంచి ప్రారంభించనున్నట్లు జాతీయ పరీక్షల సంస్థ(ఎన్టీఏ) ప్రకటించింది. జనవరి పరీక్షకు సంబంధించిన దరఖాస్తులను నవంబర్ 30వ తేదీ రాత్రి 9 గంటల వరకు సమర్పించవచ్చు. ఈ మేరకు ఎన్టీఏ నోటిఫికేషన్ జారీ చేసింది.

అర్హత:
- అభ్యర్థులకు వయోపరిమితి లేదు. 2022, 2023 123 తరగతి/ తత్సమాన పరీక్షలో ఉత్తీర్ణులైన అభ్యర్థులు లేదా 2024లో వయస్సుతో సంబంధం లేకుండా 12వ తరగతి పరీక్షలకు హాజరయ్యే అభ్యర్థులు జేఈఈ (మెయిన్) - 2024 పరీక్షకు హాజరు కావచ్చు.
- తొలి విడతను వచ్చే జనవరి 24 నుంచి ఫిబ్రవరి 1వ తేదీ వరకు, చివరి విడత ఏప్రిల్ 1 నుంచి 15వ తేదీ వరకు జరుపుతామని ఎన్టీఏ వెల్లడించింది. మొదటి ఒకట్రెండు రోజులు బీఆర్క్, బీ-ప్లానింగ్ కోర్సుల్లో ప్రవేశాలకు పేపర్-2, మిగిలిన రోజుల్లో బీటెక్ సీట్ల భర్తీకి పేపర్-1 పరీక్ష నిర్వహిస్తారు. విద్యార్థులకు కేటాయించిన పరీక్ష కేంద్రాలను జనవరి రెండో వారంలో ప్రకటిస్తారు.
- హాల్టికెట్లను జనవరి మూడో వారంలో వెబ్సైట్లో అందుబాటులో ఉంచుతారు. ఏప్రిల్లో జరిగే చివరి విడతకు ఫిబ్రవరి 2 నుంచి మార్చి 2వ తేదీ వరకు దరఖాస్తులు సమర్పించవచ్చు.
ఎన్ఐఐటీలు, ట్రిపుల్ ఐటీల్లో ప్రవేశాలకు..
దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఎన్ఐటీలు, ట్రిపుల్ ఐటీల్లో బీటెక్ సీట్లను జేఈఈ మెయిన్ ర్యాంకుల ఆధారంగానే భర్తీ చేస్తారు. ఐఐటీల్లో చేరాలంటే జేఈఈ అడ్వాన్స్డ్ రాయాలి. మెయిన్ కనీస మార్కులు సాధించి అర్హత పొందిన 2.50 లక్షల మందికి మాత్రమే అడ్వాన్స్డ్ పరీక్ష రాసేందుకు అవకాశముంటుంది.
ఇంటర్ మార్కుల నిబంధన
గతంలో కనీస మార్కులతో ఇంటర్లో ఉత్తీర్ణులైతే చాలు ఎన్ఐటీలు, ట్రిపుల్ ఐటీల్లో ప్రవేశం పొందేలా వెసులుబాటు కల్పించారు. ఈసారి మళ్లీ మార్కుల నిబంధనను విధించారు. జేఈఈ మెయిన్ ఎంత ర్యాంకు వచ్చినా ఇంటర్లో మాత్రం ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ విద్యార్థులకు 65 శాతం, మిగిలినవారికి 75 మార్కులు తప్పనిసరిగా రావాలని ఎన్డీఏ స్పష్టంచేసింది.

ముఖ్యాంశాలివీ..
- పరీక్షలను తెలుగు, ఆంగ్లం సహా మొత్తం 13 భాషాల్లో నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఇతర భాషల్లో హిందీ, అస్సామీ, బెంగాలీ, గుజరాతీ, మరాఠీ, కన్నడ, మలయాళం, తమిళం, ఒడియా, పంజాబీ, ఉర్దూ ఉన్నాయి. శ ఆంగ్లంతోపాటు అభ్యర్థులు కోరుకున్న ప్రాంతీయ భాషలోనూ ఇస్తారు. పేపర్-1 300 మార్కులకు, పేపర్-2 400 మార్కులకు ఉంటాయి.
- పరీక్షలు కంప్యూటర్ ఆధారంగా సాగుతాయి. బీఆర్క్ విద్యార్థులకు ఆఫ్లైన్ విధానంలో డ్రాయింగ్ పరీక్ష కూడా ఉంటుంది.
- పరీక్ష రెండు షిఫ్టుల్లో జరుగుతుంది. తొలి షిఫ్టు ఉదయం 9 నుంచి మధ్యాహ్నం 12 వరకు, రెండో షిఫ్టు సాయంత్రం 3 నుంచి 6 గంటల వరకు ఉంటుంది.
- ప్రశ్నపత్రాల్లో రెండు సెక్షన్లు ఉంటాయి. సెక్షన్- బీలో 10 ప్రశ్నల్లో అయిదుకు సమాధానాలు గుర్తించాలి. రెండు సెక్షన్లలోనూ తప్పు సమాధానాలకు మైనస్ మార్కులుంటాయి.
- దరఖాస్తు చేసే సమయంలో విద్యార్థులు లేదా తమ తల్లిదండ్రులకు సంబంధించిన మొబైల్ నంబర్, ఈ-మెయిల్ చిరునామాలే ఇవ్వాలని.. ఏదైనా సమాచారం ఉంటే వాటికి పంపుతామని ఎన్టీఏ తెలిపింది.
