SEAS Model Practice Papers 2023 SEAS Survey Scope
- SEAS will encompass students in grades 3, 6 and 9 in all types of management schools including private management schools
- SEAS will comprise subjects such as Language, Mathematics, and EVS for classes 3 and 6; Language, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science for class 9.
- The survey will offer a comprehensive evaluation of student learning at the block level.
- SEAS 2023 will adopt a paper-based mode utilizing Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) technology.
- Assessment for all grades will be competency-based and aligned with Learning Outcomes (LOs) of NAS.
Assessment Design:
Assessment for Grades 3 and 6:
- Three booklets per grade.
- Modular Matrix Design for two subjects in each booklet.
- Inclusion of items corresponding to the learning outcome.
- Anchor items from NAS 2017 and NAS 2021 in each booklet.
- Four booklets for Grade 9.
- Modular Matrix Design for two subjects in each booklet.
- Inclusion of at least 1 item corresponding to the learning outcome. - Anchor items from NAS 2017 and NAS 2021 in each booklet.

Assessment Tools:
- Tools designed based on NAS-defined Learning Outcomes in competency mode by NCERT.
Student Preparation Action Plan:
- SCERT is actively collaborating with Ei and LFE to prepare study
- SCERT will send weekly practice tests.
- Every Saturday practice test to be administered in all management schools including private unaided schools.
- DEOs are directed to curate District-level preparation study materials aligning with CBA/NAS questions model by concerned
- District Project Coordinators and APCs are advised to allocate necessary budget from available funds at District Samagra Shiksha
- Director SCERT will closely monitor the implementation of this action plan and review the progress achieved on a weekly basis.

DOES
Survey room should have proper ventilation, light, drinking water etc. basic needs.
Head of the Institute and Field Investigator both are responsible for the whole survey in the school/class.
Confidentiality Agreement should be signed by every one in the SEAS.
Use correct codes for
F.I has to see all the columns in the OMR regarding student particulars should be filled by 6 & 9 class students.
For class 3 students, they just circle the answer in the Survey question paper. Later, F.I. has to fill all the bubbles in the OMR.
Pupil Questioner of class 3 students also bubbled by F.I. in Interview mode.
Field Investigators are allowed to clarify the doubts of the children pertaining the details & OMR.
All the instructions should be read by F.I. loudly and write the common details on the black/green board like UDISE code, School code etc.
BLUE/BLACK PEN should be used for bubbling in OMR.
F.I. has to demonstrate the correct method of bubbling on board for class 6th & 9th Students.
Only one S.Q. is enough for each school, even more classes are tested in the same school.
Only one T.Q. is enough if the same teacher is dealing more than one class surveyed.
E.g. Survey is conducting for class 6th & 9th in the same school and their maths teacher same, then he/she will fill only one T.Q.
Separate field notes for separate classes should be used even in the same school having more classes.
Field Notes should be signed by F.I., School H.M. with seal and any monitoring officer if they visit.
Monitoring proforma with F.I. has to be signed by Block/District/State/National observers.

DON'TS:
- Whitener should not be used in OMRs. Ink pens/Gel pens are not allowed.
- Either BLUE or BLACK pen only should be used by one student. Don't use both in the same OMR.
- No survey material left over in the school after the survey
- F.I. should not bubble the answers for class 6th & 9th
- No subject teacher is allowed in to the survey room.
NAS - SEAS INSTRUCTIONS:
State Educational Achievement Survey 2023
1. దేశంలోని అన్ని ప్రాంతాలలో నవంబర్ 3వ తేదీన ఈ సర్వే జరుగును.
2. మండల స్థాయి, విద్యా స్థాయి పై నివేదిక ఇవ్వబడుతుంది. కనుక ఏ మండలం లో విద్యా ప్రమాణాలు ఎలా ఉన్నాయో తెలియచేసే ఒక ముఖ్యమైన సర్వే.
3. ఈ సర్వే క్రింది అసెస్మెంట్ ఫ్రేమ్ వర్క్ లో జరుగును.
4. FI లు పాఠశాలకు ప్రార్ధన సమావేశానికి వెళ్ళాలి.
5. FI లు తమ నియామక పత్రాన్ని పాఠశాల HM గారికికి చూపించి సర్వే నిర్వహించాలి..
6. సెక్షన్ శాంప్లింగ్, స్టూడెంట్ శాంప్లింగ్ FI చేయాలి..
7. 3వ తరగతి విద్యార్థులకు సర్వే ప్రశ్న పత్రం లో సరియైన సమాధానం సంఖ్య పై పెన్సిల్ తో వృత్తం చుట్టమని చెప్పాలి.
8. సర్వే అనంతరం 3వ తరగతి విద్యార్థుల OMR లో మరియు PQ FI బ్లాక్ పెన్ తో బబల్ చేయాలి.
9. 6, 9 తరగతుల విద్యార్థుల సమాధానాలు విద్యార్థులే బబల్ చేయాలి.
10. ప్రధాన సర్వే అనంతరం PQ సర్వే కూడా ఇదే తరహాలో చేయాలి.
11. ఒకే పేపర్ పై సైడ్ A లో మెయిన్ OMR మరియు సైడ్ B లో PQ OMR ఉంటాయి.
12. PQ సర్వే సమాధానాలు కూడా OMR లోనే పైన చెప్పిన సిధం గానే నమోదు చేయాలి.
13. TQ ని ఉపాధ్యాయులు. SQ సర్వే ని ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయులు పూర్తీ చేయాలి.
సర్వే అనంతరం, మెటీరియల్ను 4 ఫ్యాక్ లుగా చేయవలెను. ప్యాకెట్ లోపల కూడా క్రింది అర్డర్ నే ఫాలో అవ్వవలెను.

3: PQ OMR & MAIN ANSWER OMR (ఈ రెండు రకాల OMR లు) ఒకే పేపర్ పై SIDE - A మరియు SIDE- B గా ముద్రించబడతాయి. కావున ఒకే CMR షీట్ ఉంటుంది.పై మూడు కూడాను మూడు విడివిడి పాలిథిన్ కవర్లలో ఉంచి ఆ మూడిటిని కలిపి ఒక ప్యాకెట్ గా చేసి సీల్ చేయవలెను.

1. ఫీల్డ్ ఇన్వెస్టిగేటర్ నింపబడిన ఫీల్డ్ నోట్స్

ప్యాకింగ్ పూర్తయిన తర్వాత సంబంధిత పాఠశాల హెచ్ఎం గారు, ఫీల్డ్ ఇన్వెస్టిగేటర్ పాఠశాలపేరు, U-DISE, MEDIUM, NO OF ALLOTED. NO OF ATTENDED. NO OF ABSETEES వ్రాసి, సీల్ చేసి, పైన సంతకం చేయవలెను.

Note: For classes 3,6 and 9 practice should be made with material released by SCERT and in Afternoon session practice tests to be conducted in all management schools. Concerned inspecting officers should submit the compliance report daily to DEOs concerned. DEOs in turn submit the data in the google form attached to state office.
