Attention of all the DT&AOS in the state and the ATO, CRT, O/o the DTA, AP, Mangalagiri is invited to the subject and reference cited. They are informed that Income Tax will be deducted from the pensioners on the estimated pension for the Financial year 2023-24, in equal monthly installments from the month of July-2023, payable in August-2023. Accordingly, Income Tax from the pensioners is going to be deducted centrally at CFMS. Savings if any submitted by the taxpayer through employee self services (or) physically before the treasury officer, the Treasury officer should take suitable steps for reduction of tax duly uploading the documents presented by the pensioners.

- ఆదాయపు పన్ను పరిధిలో గల పెన్షనర్ల నుండి 2023-24 ఆర్ధిక సంవత్సరానికి ఆదాయపు పన్ను మినహాయింపు జులై 2023 పేబుల్ ఇన్ ఆగఘ్ట పెన్షన్ నుండి పిబ్రవరి వరకు సమాన వాయిదాలలో రికవరి చేయాలని అందరు డిటివో లకు యస్ టివో లకు ఆదేశాలను FINo-2-14060/112/2022-D SEC-DTA (1899620) తేది17/7/2023 ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం ట్రెజరీస్ అండ్ అక్కౌంట్సు డిపార్టుమెంట్ వారి పేర ఉత్తర్వులు నేడు విడుదల చేసారు..ఐటి శాఖవారి సర్కులర్ నెం. 4 ఆఫ్ 2023 తేది5/4/2023 ననుసరించి పెన్షనర్లందరు డిఫాల్ట్ గా న్యూరీజియమ్(With out Deductions )పరిధిలోకి వస్తారని ఎవరేని పెన్షనర్ పాత విధానంలో కొనసాగదలచుకుంటే సంబంధిత STO గారికి వ్రాత పూర్వకంగా ఓల్డ్ రీజియంలో కొనసాగించని కోరుతూ దరఖాస్తు ఇవ్వాలని అట్లు ఇచ్చినవారు మినహా మిగిలిన వారందరూ న్యూరీజియమ్ లో ఉంటారని తెలియచేసారు.
- పెన్షనర్లకు సంబందించి రాష్ట్ర స్ధాయిలో CFMS లో ఆదాయపుపన్ను గణన చేసి తగ్గిస్తారు.
- ఓల్డ్ రీజియంలో కొనసాగాలనుకునేవారు వారు చేసిన సేవింగ్స్ వివరాలను cfms సైట్ లో ESS లో అప్లోడ్ చేయడంగాని , నేరుగా ఫిజికల్ కాపీని సంబంధిత STO గారికి అందచేయవలసి ఉంటుందని ఈ సర్కులర్ లో తెలియచేయడం జరిగింది.
- ఆదాయపు పన్ను చెల్లించవలసిన పెన్షనర్ల నుండి ఈ జులై నెల పెన్షన్ నుండే ఆదాయపు పన్ను రికవరి చేయబడుతుంది.
- సేవింగ్స్ ఉండి ,లాభదాయకంగా ఉండి- ఓల్డ్ రీజియంలో కొనసాగాలనుకునే వారు వెంటనే సంబంధిత STO గారికి ఆవిషయం వ్రాతపూర్వకంగా తెలియచేయా‌లి.
They are further informed that new tax regime is the default tax regime applicable to all pensioners. However, a person may exercise an option to opt for old tax regime. If intimation is not made by the pensioner, they shall come under new Tax Regime. A tile is provided under OBOS - IT Declaration, to edit for old Tax regime.
