AGRI POLYCET-2022 is conducted for the students seeking admission in to various Diploma courses offered by ANGRAU, Dr. YSR HU, SVVU and APFU in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Also, candidates who wish to opt 15% unreserved seats in AP from Telangana state, shall have to appear AGRI POLYCET-2022

What is AGRI POLYCET?

AGRI POLYCET is a Polytechnic common entrance test conducted by Acharya N.G Ranga Agricultural University, Guntur for admission into Diploma programs offered in constituent and private Polytechnics affiliated to Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU), Guntur, Dr YSR Horticultural University (Dr YSR H U), Venkataramanna gudem, Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU), Tirupati and Andhra Pradesh Fisheries University (APFU), Vijayawada.

Every candidate desirous of seeking admission into various Diploma course offered by ANGRAU, Guntur, Dr YSR HU, Venkataramanna gudem, SVVU, Tirupati and APFU, Vijayawada can apply online for AGRI POLYCET-2022. No separate application is prescribed for appearing entrance test for admission in to above Universities. The filled in application for AGRI POLYCET-2022 itself is an application for all the above four

The above Universities have established Polytechnics in various places in the State of Andhra Pradesh and also accorded affiliation to a few Private Polytechnics to boost the agriculture and allied sector and to create to the needs of technically trained manpower.

Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) offers the following Four Diploma Programmes (ANNEXURE-I)
1. Diploma in Agriculture : 2 Years
2. Diploma in Seed Technology : 2 Years
3. Diploma in Organic Farming : 2 Years
4. Diploma in Agricultural Engineering : 3 Years

All the Diploma courses offered by ANGRAU are in English Medium only

15% of total intake (of that corresponding academic year) of B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture is reserved for the passed-out Diploma holders for admission into First year B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture through AGRICET entrance examination conducted by ANGRAU.

Candidates who have passed three years Diploma in Agricultural Engineering are eligible for B. Tech (Ag. Engg.) through lateral entry via ECET

YSR Horticultural University offers
1. Diploma in Horticulture: 2 Years

15% of total intake (of that corresponding academic year) of B.Sc. (Hons) Horticulture is reserved for the passed-out Diploma holders for an entry into the First year of B.Sc. (Hons) Horticulture through HORTICET entrance examination conducted by Dr YSR HU.

Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University offers
1. Diploma in Animal Husbandry: 2 Years

Fisheries University offers
1. Diploma in Fishery Sciences: 2Years

NOTE: As per GO Rt. No.17 Dt. 10-02-2021, Govt. of A. P, Permission has been accorded to Universities, Colleges and Institutes etc., to admit 2 year diploma holders awarded by ANGRAU, Dr YSR HU & SVVU into B.Sc. Biology stream programmes/combinations, B. Voc. Programmes in Agriculture and Horticulture programmes and other relevant disciplines, B.Com and B. A without Mathematics and Statistics

Eligibility Criteria:

Academic Qualification:
1. Candidates who wish to seek admission into above Diploma Courses should have appeared and qualified in AGRI POLYCET-2022 conducted by ANGRAU, Lam,
2. Candidate should have passed SSC Examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education, A.P./T.S. or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P./T.S such as Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), P, Open School Society (APOSS), Telangana Open School Society (TOSS).

Candidates who appeared SSC or equivalent examination held in May-2022, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for AGRI POLYCET- 2022
Candidates who have passed SSC in compartmental and who have either discontinued or failed in intermediate are also eligible to apply for AGRIPOLYCET -2022.
Candidate who have passed intermediate or pursuing higher studies are not eligible to apply

Age:

Candidates for admission into Diploma courses in the above Universities shall be required to have completed 15 years of age as on the year of admission (as on 31-08-2022) with an upper age limit of 22 years (Born between 31.08.2000 and 31.08.2007).

Online Examination Fees:

Application fee for candidates belong to SC/ST category is Rs.500/- and for all other candidates Rs.600/-. The applicant has to select Rupay Debit Card/UPI/Debit Card /Credit Card (Visa / MasterCard)/Internet Banking option to pay the fee and follow the online instruction to complete payment of fee.

DOWNLOADING HALL TICKET:
- Hall tickets will be generated through online. Candidates who have applied can download the hall tickets at specified period which will be indicated in website.
- Hall ticket issued to the candidate should be checked thoroughly. If any mistake is found, it should be corrected through helpline center IMMEDIATELY to get a revised Hall
- No candidate will be allowed with incorrect data and without valid photo on the Hall ticket to appear for the

Pattern of Examination:

AGRI POLYCET - 2022 will be of 0 hours duration consisting of only one paper.

40 Questions in Mathematics for 40
40 Questions in Physical Science for 40 Marks (20 each in Physics and Chemistry)
40 Questions in Natural Science for 40 Marks (20 each in Botany and Zoology)

Candidates should not bring Logarithmic Tables, Calculators, pagers, Cell phone or any other supporting electronic gadgets into the Examination Hall. Any candidate found in possession of any forbidden material will be sent out of the Examination Hall and may also lead to the cancellation of performance of the Candidates must remain seated in their allotted places till completion of the Examination and no candidates shall be allowed to leave before completion of examination

Declaration of Ranks:

QUALIFYING MARKS IN AGRI POLYCET - 2022
- Minimum marks for declaring a candidate to have passed in AGRI POLYCET-2022 shall be twenty five per cent e. 30 marks out of 120 marks
- No minimum marks are stipulated for the SC and ST
- The marks obtained at the entrance test shall be considered for the purpose assigning ranks on the basis of which, selection shall be made for admission into diploma courses through online counselling, for which a separate notification shall be issued

Candidates who are desirous to join in Diploma courses offered by the above four Universities shall have to register in response to the press notification for consideration of their candidature for admission through online counselling
Candidates not appeared and/or not qualified in AGRI POLYCET-2022 are not eligible for admission into any of the Diploma courses offered by the above four Universities
Every care will be taken to avoid errors in the valuation of answer sheets, tabulation of results and ranking of the candidates. Hence, request for revaluation or re-totaling will not be entertained under any circumstances.
