In continuation to this office instructions issued vide reference read above, the Joint Collectors, Development, District Educational officers and Regional Joint Director of School Education in the state are hereby informed that on 21.12.2020 the lists of eligible, ineligible and withheld students along with the details of their mothers were hosted in https://jagananna ammavodi.ap.gov.in/so as to enable
to download in pdf format by the school headmasters, Mandal Educational Officers concerned with their login credentials.
Further, it has come to the notice of the government that in one of the Districts that a child of a Government teacher got benefited under the said scheme wherein the teacher being a government employee got his child registered with Aadhar of his mother instead of the mother of the child by hiding
the facts. Immediately DEO concerned has placed the said teacher under suspension besides initiating criminal proceedings against the teacher for claiming such a fraudulent benefit.
In this regard it is requested to inform all the head masters and the Principals to exercise utmost care and caution before finalizing the eligibility lists for Amma Vodi Program and no ineligible person should get the benefit. The entire program of Jagananna Ammavodi is intended with the ultimate objective of ensuring that poverty does not come in the way of the poor mothers for educating their children. So if any ineligible person knocks away the benefit, it not only damages the credibility of the system but also causes injustice to the needy and eligible. Hence Head masters/Principals should be advised to feel the moral responsibility and take necessary steps to ensure that the final list is completely genuine
Therefore necessary instructions be issued to the concerned Head Masters/Principals of Government, Aided and Unaided managements to identify similar cases, if any, by duly ensuring that no Central Government / State Government/PSU/Bank employee should be benefited. Also ensure that no out
sourcing / contract / private employees who are drawing more than Rs. 10,000/- p.m in rural and Rs.12,000/- p.m in urban should claim the benefit under this scheme.
If such cases are detected at a later date, such government/private functionaries would be taken to task by initiating necessary disciplinary proceedings besides penal action against them for such a fraudulent claim.
And with respect to unaided Private institutions action will be initiated against the managements/schools concerned as per the rules in vogue, besides initiating penal action for such a fraudulent action.
