Protocol in attending offices and leaving headquarters to go outside the state including Hyderabad - instructions G.O.RT.No. 985 Dated: 12-06-2020

Containment, Control, and Prevention of COVID 19 - “Lockdown” extension till 30th June, 2020 - Observing COVID-19 protocol in attending offices and leaving headquarters to go outside the state including Hyderabad - Further instructions - Issued.

Read the following:

3. G O Rt No.951, Genl. Admn. (Poll.A) Department, dated 05.06.2020.

ORDER:
In the G.Os 1st and 2nd read above, orders were issued on the attendance of government servants
in the context of lockdown due to COVID-19. In the G.O. 1st to 3rd read above, detailed guidelines were issued for taking various precautionary measures in preventing the spread of COVID-19, in the office premises while resuming the functioning of all government offices.
As a part of preventive measures for community spread of COVID-19, proactive tests have been
conducted for employees especially those attending office from outside the state. Test results of some of the employees are turning positive. It is the duty of the employee/officer to protect themselves and help in preventing further spread of the disease in the offices.

    In the circumstances stated above and in continuation of the guidelines issued in the G.O.1st to
3rd read above, Government hereby issue the following guidelines :
(i) All employees are expected to attend office duly following COVID-19 protocols except in the
following conditions:

(a) Officers / staff residing in containment zone shall not come to office and work from home till
containment zone is de-notified;
(b) Persons suffering from the following conditions shall be allowed work from home, subject to
production of medical certificate for a definite period from the competent authority:
i. High Level Diabetes and / or high blood pressureii. Coronary heart diseaseiii. Chronic obstructive pulmonary diseaseiv. Chronic kidney diseasev. Undergoing chemotherapyvi. Under any immunosuppressant drugs treatment.vii. Re-employed employees at the age of 65 years of age and those with comorbidities,viii. Pregnant women employees.
(c) The department heads shall allow people to work from home when their Arogya Setu app shows
that “AT High Risk”
(ii) As already ordered in G.O. 3rd read above, all employees/officers must install Aarogya Setu app
which provides information about the risk if one has been near a COVID-19 infected person and should attend office only if app shows safe or low risk.
(iii) The employees/officers should not move outside A.P.State including Hyderabad as a part of
preventive measures for community spread of COVID-19. Employees/officers other than field level
functionaries/officers should minimise their movements even within the state and should not leave
headquarters without written permission from head of department.
(iv) Despite taking preventive measures, if the test results of an employee is positive or employee
found to be suffering from symptoms of COVID-19, the employee should be shifted to COVID hospital as per advice of doctors. A risk assessment shall be undertaken by the designated public health authority. The necessary action for contact tracing, management of contacts, disinfection of work place and closure of work place and all other preventive measures shall be taken as per SOP prescribed for preventive measures to contain spread of COVID-19 in offices by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued in order dated 4.6.2020. The same is annexed to this G.O.

  All the Departments of Secretariat, Heads of Departments, District Collectors and Head of offices

are requested to ensure that the above instructions are followed scrupulously.
