Basing on requests received from the Employees
Associations and to facilitate quick process of the Medical reimbursement
bills, Government have entrusted the Chief Executive Officer, Dr.NTR Vaidya
Seva Trust to study the medical
reimbursement system and analyze the process of reimbursement through the
Dr.NTRVS Trust.
2.After going through the relevant materials
the Chief Executive Officer, Dr.NTR Vaidya Seva
Trust submitted the report in the letter 2nd read above
stating that the scrutiny of medical bills is being done manually at various
levels in the O/o. the Director of Medical Education and no online system is
available for reimbursement system.
3.Government after careful
examination of the matter hereby withdraw the powers of scrutiny of medical
bills from the Director of Medical Education and authorizes the Chief Executive Officer, Dr.NTR
Vaidya Seva Trust to scrutinize the medical reimbursement bills.
4.The Chief Executive Officer, Dr.NTR
Vaidya Seva Trust is also permitted to
scrutinize the medical reimbursement
bills with the existing staff i.e panel specialists as per the existing
the APIMA Rules, 1972 and also authorized
to collect the necessary charges from the Employee Health Scheme (EHS) funds as per the existing norms and
guidelines to pay the specialists
services.
5.The Director of Medical Education is directed to handover all the pending medical reimbursement bills to the Chief Executive Officer, Dr.NTR Vaidya Seva Trust with immediate effect.
6.The Director of Medical Education
is also requested to hand over all the related existing rules/Government Orders issued from time to time, if any, pertaining to
medical reimbursement scheme to
the Chief Executive Officer, Dr.NTR Vaidya Seva Trust.
