ORDER :
In the G.O.2nd read above, Government
established Andhra Kesari Tanguturi Prakasam University at Ongole in Prakasam
District with headquarters at Ongole commencing from the Academic year
2019-2020.
2. A Bill to give effect to the above
Notification could not be introduced in the next Session of the Andhra Pradesh
State Legislature as required under Section 3 (2) of the Andhra Pradesh
Universities Act, 1991.
3. Government
therefore, decided to re-issue the Notification establishing the Andhra Kesari
Tanguturi Prakasam University at Ongole in Prakasam District with head quarters
at Ongole commencing from the Academic year 2019-2020 with effect from 01.11.2018.
Accordingly, the following
notifications will be published in an Extra-ordinary issue of the Andhra
Pradesh Gazette. Dated:18.2.2019.
NOTIFICATION – I
In exercise the powers conferred under sub-section
(1) of Section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Universities Act, 1991 (Andhra Pradesh Act No. 4 of
1991), Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby establish the following State University
commencing from the Academic Year 2019-2020 with the name, area of operation
and headquarter as specified below:

NOTIFICATION – II
In
exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of Andhra
Pradesh Universities Act, 1991 (Andhra Pradesh Act No.4 of 1991), Government of
Andhra Pradesh hereby make the following amendments to the schedule to the said Act.
AMENDMENTS
In the table under the said
Schedule
(i)
Against serial No. 4, in column (3), item
No.2 shall be omitted.
(ii) After serial No.16, the following
entries shall be added in columns (1), (2),(3), and (4)
respectively; namely:
