APPSC Departmental Tests November 2026 Notification

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) issued Notification No. 06/2026, dated 28 September 2026, for the Departmental Tests November 2026 session. This is a departmental test notification and is not a recruitment notification. Examination dates will be announced separately by APPSC.

Eligibility and examination centres
Andhra Pradesh government employees may apply for tests prescribed in their respective departmental service rules. The notification also identifies certain paper codes open to all applicants, including people outside government service. Eligibility for specific tests and exemptions must be checked in Section 5 of the official notification and relevant service rules.
Tests will be conducted in all 26 districts of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates are normally allotted their present working district as entered in the application; if accommodation is insufficient, APPSC may allot a nearby district. Existing OTPR users should update their working district according to the 26-district structure before submitting.

Language and Survey & Settlement tests listed in the notification are conventional papers. Detailed paper schedule, syllabus/books and qualifying marks are referenced as annexures on the APPSC website. The notification states that the negative marking system has been cancelled for departmental tests.

The notification states that no fee is prescribed for Gujarati and Marwari language tests. Pay online through the APPSC payment gateway. Fees paid are not refundable. Name, personal details and fee cannot be corrected through the correction process; check all entries before payment.
How to apply online
- Visit the APPSC official website from 1 October 2026.
- Register for OTPR if applying for the first time. Existing users can sign in with their OTPR ID and update the working district where necessary.
- Open Online Application Submission and select Notification No. 06/2026.
- Check your profile and application details, select the appropriate tests, and complete the online payment.
- Note the payment reference ID, submit the application and save or print the generated application receipt.
Upload a JPEG photograph of 3.5 × 4.5 cm, under 50 KB, and a JPEG signature of 3.5 × 1.5 cm, under 30 KB. Some tests require a scanned service certificate or other supporting documents; see Section 5(B) of the notification.
