Dr. BRAOU AP offers 3-year Undergraduate degree programmes and a 1-year B.LISc course structured under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS):

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) — Duration: 3 Years

  • SPS Combination: Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration

 Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) — Duration: 3 Years

  • MPC Combination: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
  • MPCs Combination: Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) — Duration: 3 Years

  • B.Com: Computer Applications

Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.LISc.) — Duration: 1 Year

 Eligibility Criteria

  • B.A. & B.Com (Computer Applications):
    • Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination.
    • National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) / AP Open School (APOS) 10+2.
    • 2-year ITI / Polytechnic Diploma / Veterinary or Agriculture Diploma.

 B.Sc. (MPC / MPCs):

    • Must have studied Science/Mathematics at the 10+2 or Intermediate level.
    • Polytechnic Diploma holders must submit 1st-year marks lists proving study of Mathematics.
    • Vocational students must have passed the Mathematics Bridge Course.

B.LISc. (1 Year):

    • Graduates with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/BC/PH candidates), OR
    • In-service graduates with 1 year of regular service in a recognized library, OR
    • Graduates with a Diploma/Certificate in Library & Information Science.

Mandatory Steps Before Applying (UGC-DEB Compliance)

To ensure your distance degree is valid for government jobs and higher studies, you must complete these steps prior to submitting your application:

  1. Create an ABC ID: Register on the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) portal via Digilocker.
  2. Generate DEB ID: Visit the official UGC-DEB Student Portal and generate your unique DEB ID linked to your ABC ID.
  3. Verify Entitlement: Verify on the UGC-DEB portal that Dr. BRAOU AP is permitted to offer your chosen ODL course for the 2026–27 session.
  4. Choose an Authorized Centre: Ensure you select an officially notified Regional or Learning Support Centre (LSC) within Andhra Pradesh.

 How to Apply Online

  1. Visit the official university web portal: drbraouap.ac.in.
  2. Click on the Admissions 2026–27 link.
  3. Register using your mobile number, email, and mandatory DEB ID / ABC ID.
  4. Fill in your personal and educational details, and choose your preferred study centre.
  5. Upload scanned copies of required documents (Certificates, Photo, Signature, Category proofs).
  6. Pay the tuition and lab fees online through the integrated payment gateway.
  7. Download and print the payment receipt and application confirmation page for future reference.
