All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers, Principals of DIETs, and Additional Project Coordinators in the state are hereby informed that the Entrepreneurial Mindset Development Program (EMDP) for the academic year 2026– 27 is to be implemented for class 8 and 9 in a structured manner.
Accordingly, the following timelines and activities are proposed:
Registration and nomination of teachers from Schools
- All Complex Schools and other High Schools under all managements (Govt., ZP, Municipal, Aided, etc.) across the state are to be registered for the EMDP Program by the 20th of July 2026. AMO/DSO/EMDP District Manager shall coordinate with respective school heads to ensure timely registration through the LEAP APP.
Online Mentor Teacher Training:
- The online Mentor Teacher (MT) Training for all identified teachers shall be conducted on 15th July 2026. The AMO, DSO, and EMDP District Manager are to identify 2 Teachers from each district as Resource Persons.
Online Teacher Training:
- Since the program is already active in the state, an online Teacher Training session is to be conducted for 4 hours from 21st July 2026 to 31st of July 2026, in coordination with the AMO/DSO/EMDP District Manager.
Commencement of EMDP Classes:
- The EMDP classroom sessions shall begin in all registered schools from 01st August 2026. Sessions will be conducted for one hour every Saturday, following the prescribed timetable and instructional material shared by SCERT & the EMDP Consortium.
EXPO registration:
All the Eligible Schools can register to the EXPO-2027,using the link shared by EMDP consortium and SCERT, The EMDP EXPO 2027 is scheduled to be held in the 2nd week of February.
Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers, Principals of DIETs, and Additional Project Coordinators are requested to disseminate the above instructions to all the field-level functionaries and ensure that they extend the cooperation for the effective implementation of the programme.
