CTET February 2024 Notification Apply Online.. The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct 21st edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in CBT (Computer Based Test - Online) mode on 08th February 2026. The exact date of examination will be mentioned on the admit cards of the candidates. The detailed Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates will be available on CTET official website: https://ctet.nic.in. soon and the aspiring candidates are requested to download the Information Bulletin from the above mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying. The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through CTET website i.e. https://ctet.nic.in. The online application-process will be start from 27.11.2025 onwards and the last date for submitting online application is 18.12.2025 upto 11:59 hrs.

CTET February 2026 ELIGIBILITY:
The minimum qualifications for appearing in the CTET are as notified by NCTE. The candidates are advised to visit the website of NCTE https://ncte.gov.in to ascertain their eligibility.
The minimum qualifications for the teaching staff should be in accordance with the following:
i. National Council for Teacher Education (Determination of Minimum Qualifications for Persons to be recruited as Education Teachers and Physical Education Teachers in Pre-Primary, Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary, Senior Secondary or Intermediate Schools or Colleges) Regulations as amended and notified from time to time.
ii. Minimum qualifications laid down in the Recruitment Rules for the teachers by the Appropriate Government where the school is situated or the Recruitment Rules for the teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan or Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.
iii. The candidate should satisfy his/her eligibility before applying and shall be personally responsible in case he/she is not eligible to apply as per the given eligibility criteria. It is to be noted that if a candidate has been allowed to appear in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test it does not imply that the candidate’s eligibility has been verified. It does not vest any right with the candidate for appointment. The eligibility shall be finally verified, by the concerned recruiting agency / appointing authority.
Note: As notified by NCTE, relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification for eligibility shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/ OBC/Differently-abled.

CTET STRUCTURE AND CONTENT:
All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be most appropriate. Each carrying one mark and there will be no negative marking.
There will be two papers of CTET.
- (i) Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
- (ii) Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
Note: A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

సెంట్రల్ టీచర్ ఎలిజిబిలిటీ టెస్ట్ సీటెట్) డిసెంబర్ 2024 సెంట్రల్ బోర్డ్ ఆఫ్ సెకండరీ ఎడ్యుకేషన్(సీబీఎస్ఈ) నిర్వహిస్తున్న సెంట్రల్ టీచర్స్ ఎలిజిబిలిటీ టెస్ట్ (సీటెట్) డిసెంబర్ 2024 నోటిఫికేషన్ విడుదలైంది. 20వ ఎడిషన్ సీటెట్ రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ల ప్రక్రియ సెప్టెంబర్ 17 నుంచి అక్టోబర్ 16 వరకు కొనసాగనుంది. పరీక్షను కంప్యూటర్ ఆధారితంగా నిర్వహించనున్నారు.

పరీక్ష విధానం: పరీక్ష మొత్తం రెండు పేపర్లను కలిగి ఉంటుంది. మొదటి పేపర్ ఒకటి నుంచి ఐదు తరగతులకు బోధించాలనుకునే వారికి కోసం, రెండో పేపర్ ఆరు నుంచి తొమ్మిదో తరగతులకు బోధించాలనుకునే వారి కోసం నిర్వహిస్తారు. సీటెట్ స్కోర్ లైఫ్ లాంగ్ వ్యాలిడిటీ కలిగి ఉంటుంది. పరీక్షను 20 భాషలలో నిర్వహిస్తారు. సీటెట్ స్కోర్ కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం పరిధిలోని పాఠశాలల ఉపాధ్యాయ నియామకాల్లో పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకుంటారు.
అర్హతలు:
పేపర్-1: 50 శాతం మార్కులతో పన్నెండో తరగతితో పాటు ఎలిమెంటరీ ఎడ్యుకేషన్లో రెండేళ్ల డిప్లొమా(డీఈఎల్ డీ)/ డిప్లొమా ఇన్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్(ప్రత్యేక విద్య) లేదా డిగ్రీ, బీఈడీ ఉత్తీర్ణులై ఉండాలి.
పేపర్-2: 50 శాతం మార్కులతో బ్యాచిలర్ డిగ్రీతో పాటు డిప్లొమా ఇన్ ఎలిమెంటరీ ఎడ్యుకేషన్/ మ్యాచిలర్ ఇన్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్(బీఈడీ)/ బీఈడీ (ప్రత్యేక విద్య) లేదా సీనియర్ సెకండరీతో పాటు నాలుగేళ్లు బ్యాచిలర్ ఇన్ ఎలిమెంటరీ ఎడ్యుకేషన్(బీఈఎల్ఎస్ఈడీ)/ బీఎస్సీఈడీ/ బీఏఈడీ/ బీఎస్సీఈడీ ఉత్తీర్ణులై. ఉండాలి.
దరఖాస్తు రుసుము: జనరల్/ ఓబీసీ కేటగిరీలకు రూ.1000 (పేపర్ 1 లేదా 2 మాత్రమే), రూ.1200 (పేపర్ 1 & 2 రెండూ), ఎస్సీ/ ఎస్టీ/ దివ్యాంగులకు: రూ.500 (పేపర్ 1 లేదా 2 మాత్రమే), రూ.600 పేపర్ 1 & 2 రెండూ).

The candidates must note that the examination city of their choice will be allotted on first cum first served basis only as per availability of capacity in the city of examination. The candidates, who complete the online application process and pay the fee on first cum first served basis, will be allotted the examination city of their choice as per availability in that particular city. The total capacity in a particular city will also be available on the portal. If the total capacity of a particular city is full during completion of application process or making payment of examination fee or updation of transaction on portal, the candidate will be given the option either to select any other city or cancel the transaction. If a candidate cancels the transaction, full fee will be refunded to his/her account as per mode of payment and application will not be considered for this examination of CTET. The request for change of examination city will not be accepted in any case.
It may also be noted that if the total capacity is full in a particular city while filling on-line application, the candidate has no right to claim for the allotment of examination center in that particular city and Board will not be responsible for it. So the candidates are advised to complete their application process without waiting for last date.
