The attention of all the District Educational Officer in the State is invited to the reference 5th cited, where in the Government have decided to conduct 2nd Mega Parent Teacher Meeting across all the Government, Private Aided and Private Unaided Schools and Junior Colleges in the State on 10-07-2025 involving key stakeholders including parents, teachers, donors, public representatives, development partners and alumni and they are requested to take necessary steps to arrange Mid Day Meals lunch to the participants of 2nd Mega Parent-Teacher meeting on 10-07-2025.
Further they are instructed to issue the following instructions to all field functionaries:
- Hot cooked Mid Day Meals to be served to all Students, parents and other participants who attended to 2nd Mega Parent-Teacher meeting on 10-07-2025 in the Government,Private Aided Schools and Govt Jr.Colleges in the State. Follow Thursday menu of Mid Day Meals as per respective zonal wise menu including Ragi Java and boiled Egg for all participants along with students on 10- 07-2025 in all the Government schools.
- Steps to be taken to maintain hygiene at lunch area. Arrange lunch in a lineup manner with Students, parents, donors and other guests.
- Care to be taken that safe drinking water is available throughout the day of Parent Teachers Meeting.
- Arrange necessary hand washing area to washing hands before and after having lunch duly maintaining cleanliness.
- Cooking agency to be maintain necessary hygienic measures at cooking area and while cooking and serving the meals and they must wear gloves, head caps, and over coats.
- All Concerned Head Masters to arrive a tentative number of participants are going to attend for the parent teacher meeting on 10-07-2025 in advance and issue instructions to the concerned cooking agency/NGOs working in the school to make necessary arrangements of all ingredients accordingly.
- Head Masters to verify the availability of Fortified Fine Rice for the preparation of meals to the estimated number of participants well in advance, if any shortage of Fortified Fine Rice was noticed they shall approach DM Civil Supplies through District Educational Officer concerned immediately for smooth implementation of the programme.
- Verify the availability of all ingredients required for preparation of meals for all participants including availability of Ragi Java, Eggs, Plates & Glasses and make necessary arrangements if any shortage.
- Ensure that hot cooked food should reach school before lunch time.
- NGOs should supply the cooked meals in good quality sealed insulated/stainless steel containers. Temperature of the Mid Day Meals should be maintained at or above 65°C.
- The Head Master to enter the details of number of participants attended and meals taken in the Parent Teachers Meeting on 10-07-2025 through IMMS app from Mega PTM 2.0 screen.
- Accordingly, the Head Master can confirm the Cooking Cost bill for the number of participants attended to the Parent Teachers Meeting on 10-07-2025 as per bills process schedule and unit cost.
Further, all the District Educational Officers in the State are requested to issue necessary instructions to all the field functionaries of their jurisdiction to take all precautions for prepare and serve Mid Day Meal to participants in the Government, Private aided Schools and Govt Jr. Colleges in the State in connection with 2nd Mega Parent Teachers Meeting on 10-07-2025.
Top priority should be given to this item of work.
