Application forms are invited through online from the eligible candidates who have secured the following cut off scores and more in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test(NEET)UG–2025 and fulfilled the following eligibility criteria for admission into Under Graduate (MBBS / BDS) Courses for Competent Authority Quota in the colleges affiliated to NTRUHS, as follows: -
- Seats in Government Medical Colleges and Government Dental Colleges;
- General Category Seats in the permitted Government Medical Colleges from 2023 24 onwards (as per G.O.Ms.No.107, HM& FW (C1) Dept., Dt.19.07.2023);
- Seats in Private Un-aided Non-Minority and Minority Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges; and
- MBBS seats in Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women (under SVIMS), Tirupati

- The eligible candidates have to submit their applications through online mode only along with uploading the scanned copies of all relevant original certificates and images of photo /signature.
- The same application will be considered for all the rounds of the counseling including MOP-UP round counseling and also for stray vacancies subject of fulfillment of eligibility
- This Notification is for determining State Merit position for admission into Competent Authority Quota seats only i.e.,
- Seats available (after contributing 15% of seats to All India Quota) in Government Medical and Government Dental Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh, affiliated to NTRUHS.
- General category seats available (50% of Intake after contributing 15% of seats to All India Quota) in the permitted Government Medical Colleges from 2023-24 onwards;
- Category ‘A’ seats (50% of Intake) in Private Un-aided Non-Minority Medical and Dental Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh, affiliated to NTRUHS;
- Category ‘A’ seats (50% of Intake) in Private Un-aided Minority Medical and Dental Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh, affiliated to NTRUHS;
- 126 seats in MBBS course in Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women (under SVIMS),
- Number of seats available under Competent Authority Quota for the Academic Year 2025-26 is given at Annexure-I of Prospectus for information only.
Tuition fee for the current academic year 2025-26 will be as decided by the Govt. of A.P., subject to the outcome of W.P.Nos.32975, 33162 & 35090 of 2022.
Please refer prospectus regarding the Fee structure notified for academic year 2024-25.
- The candidates are directed to follow the details / procedure as per the Prospectus / Regulations available on University official
- State Merit position of the applied candidates will be prepared basing on the NEET UG–2025 Score & Rank and other eligibility criteria notified Final merit position will be displayed after verification of uploaded scanned copies of original certificates and after examining grievances, if any.
- The candidate should be an Indian National or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card holders and should satisfy the Local or Non-local status in Andhra Pradesh (Residence requirement) as laid down in Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admissions) Order, Selection will be done as per the procedure laid down in the G.O.P.No.646, dated10.07.1979asamendedinG.O.Ms.No.42,HigherEducation(EC2)Department, dated. 18.05.2009.
- Provided that the candidates who got registered as Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Cardholders on or after 04.03.2021 are eligible for admission only against any Non-Resident Indian seat or any supernumerary seat; and shall not be eligible for admission against any seat reserved exclusively for Indian Citizens. (G.O.Ms.No.72, HM&FW(C1) Dept., dated 05.06.2023 & G.O.Ms.No.73, HM&FW(C1) Dept., dated 05.06.2023 of Govt. of Andhra Pradesh).
- The candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2pattern) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/ Biotechnology and English.
- OC candidates should obtain not less than 50% marks in Science Subjects
- BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% marks in science Subjects
- OC PwBD candidates should obtain not less than 45% marks in science Subjects
- The candidate should complete17 years of age as on 31-12-2025.The candidates who do not complete 17 years as on 31-12-2025 are not eligible for admission into MBBS, BDS Courses and they need not apply for the counseling.
- The candidates who wish to claim seats under Anglo Indian, Sports & Games, CAP (Army), NCC, Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Bharath Scouts and Guides and Police Martyrs Children (PMC) are also need to fulfill the above eligibility criteria.
- The candidates who claim for admission under Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category shall upload documents as per notice dt:21-07-2025 and have to appear before the Medical Board, to be constituted by the Competent .The Interim Guidelines on Assessment method of grant of admission into MBBS and BDS Courses for the academic year 2025-26 notified by the National Medical Commission, New Delhi vide notice dt:19-07-2025 shall be applicable for PwBD category.
Status of Government Dental College & Hospital, Vijayawada from 2025-26:
As per G.O.Ms.No.86, HM&FW (C1) Dept., dt.20-07-2024, the Govt. of A.P. issued orders to de-notify Government Dental College & Hospital, Vijayawada as a state wide Institution and reclassify it as a Non-Statewide Institution from the academic year 2025-26 and to fall under the jurisdiction of Andhra University (AU) with admissions based on 85% Local Candidates and 15% Unreserved candidates belonging to both Andhra University (AU) and Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) regions.
Filling up of MBBS Seats in Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada for 2025-26:
The Govt of Andhra Pradesh vide G.O.Rt. No.475, HM&FW (C1) Dept., dt.22-07-2025 Ordered “To continue Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada as a State-wide Educational Institution and admissions to 85% of the available seats (after deducting All India Quota seats) shall be divided between local candidates of Andhra University and Sri Venkateswara University regions in the ratio of 65.62% and 34.38%, with the remaining 15% treated as unreserved.
The definition of local candidates and eligibility in respect of 85% local seats and 15% Unreserved seats shall be as per respective admission rules of Undergraduate Medical and Postgraduate Medical courses applicable to Govt., Professional Institutions.”
Reservation in favour of the Local Candidates:
Admission to 85% of the available seats shall be reserved in favour of the Local candidates in relation to the local area as provided in A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as given in Annexure-III of G.O. (P) No. 646, Edu. (W1) Department, dt.10-7-1979 and as per G.O.Ms.Nos.80,81&82 of HM&FW (C1) Dept.,dt.22-07-2025.
LOCAL AREA:
Andhra University Area: The part of the State comprising the erstwhile districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam shall be regarded as the Local Area for the purpose of admission to the Andhra Pradesh Government / Un-aided Non-Minority / Minority Professional Institutions e., Undergraduate Medical and Dental Professional courses and to any other educational institutions (other than a state-wide university or statewide educational institution) which is subject to the control of the State Government and is situated in that part.
Sri Venkateswara University Area: The part of the State comprising the erstwhile districts of Anantapur, Kurnool, Chittoor, Cuddapah and Nellore shall be regarded as the Local Area for the purpose of admission to the Andhra Pradesh Government / Un-aided Non-Minority / Minority Professional Institutions e Undergraduate Medical and Dental Professional courses and to any other educational institutions (other than a statewide university or state-wide educational institution) which is subject to the control of the State Government and is situated in that part.
LOCAL CANDIDATES:
The Local Candidate means:
- A candidate for admission shall be regarded as a local candidate in relation to a local –
- If he / she has studied in educational Institution or educational Institutions in such local area for a period of not less than four consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he / she appeared or as the case may be, first appeared in the relevant qualifying examination, or
- Where, during the whole or any part of the four consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he / she appeared or, as the case may be, first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination, he/ she has not studied in any educational Institutions, if he / she has resided in that local area for a period of not less than four years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying examination in which he/she appeared or, as the case may be, first appeared.
- A candidate for admission to the Course who is not regarded as local candidate under clause (A) in relation to any local area shall,-
- If he / she has studied in educational Institutions in the State for a period of not less than seven consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he / she appeared or, as the case may be, first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination be regarded as a local candidate in relation to,-
- Such local area where he / she has studied for the maximum period out of said period of seven years, or
- Where the period of his / her study in two local areas are equal, such local area, where he / she has studied last in such equal period, or
- If, during the whole or any part of seven consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he / she appeared or, as the case may be, first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination, he / she has not studied in the educational Institutions in any local area, but has resided in the State during the whole of the said period of seven years, be regarded as a local candidate in relation to,-
- Such local area where he / she has resided for the maximum period out of the said period of seven years, or
- Where the periods of his / her residence in two local areas are equal, such local area where he / she has resided last in such equal
Local Status Certificate issued through online mode by MRO for claiming as Andhra Pradesh local as per G.o.Ms.No.132 & 133, GA (SPF&MC) Department, dt.13,6.2016 and circular Memo.No.4l36/SPF&MC/2015-5, Dated: 08-08-2016 & Memo.No.4136/SPF&MC/2015-9 dated 03-09- 2016 and its amendments issued by the General Administration Dept., Govt of Andhra Pradesh.
The following categories of candidates are eligible to apply for admission under 15% of the available ANDHRA PRADESH UNRESERVED Seats.
- All the candidates eligible to be declared as local candidates of two local areas of State of Andhra Pradesh.
- Candidates who have resided in the State of Andhra Pradesh for a total period of 10 years excluding periods of study outside the State or either of whose parents have resided in the State of Andhra Pradesh for a total period often years excluding period of employment outside the State.
- Candidates who are children of parents who are in employment of the State of Andhra Pradesh or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities and Educational Institutions other similar quasi Public Institutions with in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
- Candidates who are spouses of those in the employment of the State of Andhra Pradesh or Central Government, public sector corporations, Local Bodies, Universities and Educational Institutions recognized by the Government or University or other Competent Authority and similar quasi Government Institutions with in the State of Andhra Pradesh.”
N.B.: The Scanned copies of relevant certificates must be uploaded for verification along with online application. In respect of residence certificate, the certificate should be obtained from the Revenue authorities clearly specifying the years.
Instructions to the candidates:-
- The candidates are advised to download and read the respective Prospectus of the course and instructions for filling Online Application available in the University Website https://drntr.uhsap.in before filling the online Application.
- Candidates are further advised to fill the application form on their own / self on the University website and not through any agent or third party.
- Scrutiny of uploaded data shall be done by the University and concerned Departmental After scrutiny of certificates, provisional merit list will be released and Final Merit Position will be released later, after examining grievances, if any.
- Candidates are advised to be in touch with the University website (https://drntr.uhsap.in) on regular basis for Schedule of exercising onetime web options / latest updates / Allotments / Notices / Instructions pertaining to counselling as university will not be individually contacting the candidates for the same.
Note: The process of admissions into UG Medical/Dental (MBBS/BDS) courses will be in accordance with the orders issued from time to time by Government of Andhra Pradesh.
The Online application form with the following lacunae will be rejected No communication will be sent in this regard.
- If any of the mandatory certificates are not uploaded.
- Applications with in complete details/photo and Signature.
- If any of the uploaded certificates are in visible / not properly Uploaded.
- If the certificates are not properly scanned due to which the eligibility criteria cannot be determined.
- The verification of certificates will be done basing on the uploaded scanned No separate notification will be given for verification of Original certificates. The candidates claiming reservation under Special Categories i.e. PwBD, NCC, CAP, Sports & Games, Bharath Scouts and Guides are advised to watch the University website for further Notifications / Notices.
- Hence, the candidates should register and upload all the mandatory certificates and without fail and verify once again before submission of online application.
- The candidate should submit the Print out of the filled - in Online application form personal verification status along with all Original certificates a long with one set of self-attested Copies to the Principal of allotted college at the time of joining for final In case of any discrepancy, the Provisional allotment order will be cancelled with out any notice. The candidates are informed NOT TO send the printout of application form to the University.
- Procedure of filling online application form and for payment of fee through online for Application and Processing Fee for MBBS and BDS Courses.
- The fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card / Net Banking.
- The fee paid by the applicants is not transferable/refundable under any circumstances.
- Read the Detailed Notification, Prospectus / Regulations carefully regarding eligibility under local and non-local before applying.
- Visit website through Internet Explorer11version only to fill the application form.
- The User ID which will be sent to the registered mobile after entering the basic details should be noted for further use. The User ID should be kept confidential and should not disclose to others.
- The following Certificates are required to complete the online application. The original certificates are to be scanned and kept ready to upload. Application fee has to be paid through online.

NOTE:
1.Keeping in view of exhaust of 10 years common admission process by 01-06-2024 as per State Reorganization Act, 2014 the Caste certificates issued by Govt. of A.P will only be considered for admissions (Govt. Memo No.2832690/C1/2025, Dt:21-07-2025 of Govt of Andhra Pradesh.
2. Similarly, EWS certificate issued by Govt. of A.P will only be considered for admissions
Candidate’s admission is strictly provisional. The mere fact that the Merit position issued to candidate does not imply that his/her candidature is accepted by the University and it does not mean that the entries made by him/her in the online application are accepted as true and correct. The eligibility of the candidates for admission into MBBS and BDS, Courses for the academic year 2025-26 will be examined by the University officials and officials of the concerned department only basing on the uploaded scanned original certificates.
An in-eligible candidate obtaining Merit position does not make him/her eligible for admission. He/she may please note that the University will take up the verification of original certificates with regard to eligibility conditions i.e., Educational qualifications, Local/Non local area status, category etc., at the time of joining at the allotted college. In case of any discrepancy during verification of original certificates, the Provisional Admissions Order will be cancelled without any notice.
If the information furnished by candidate in the application is incorrect, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled and further action that deems fit will be If the certificates produced by any candidate are found to be fake / false/forged at any stage of verification or admission, the University has every right to cancel the seat / admission of such candidate without any notice.
The Orders issued from time to time by Ministry of Health, of India, New Delhi/NMC/DCI/ Health Medical and Family Welfare, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh with regard to Admission to Medical and Dental Courses shall apply respectively.
Admission will be only for candidates, who have secured minimum cutoff score prescribed for that category in NEET UG – 2025 and fulfilling the eligibility
Subsequent notifications with regard to Provisional Merit List, Final Merit List and web counseling will be notified on the University website Please visit the university website https://drntr.uhsap.in regularly for subsequent notifications / instructions till the completion of admission process. NO INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTIONS / INTIMATIONS WILL BE SEND.
