Read: Instructions received from the Director of School Education during the Teams meeting held on 18.06.2025.
The attention of all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers, District School Educational Officers, and Additional Project Coordinators in the State is invited to the subject cited above, that the Government has decided to conduct Yoga Andhra Celebrations on the occasion of International Yoga Day, 21st June 2025, in all management schools, including private schools, in a befitting manner. The Hon'ble Prime Minister, Sri Narendra Modi Garu, will be launching the programme at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
In this regard, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education District Educational Officers, and District School Educational Officers are hereby instructed to issue necessary directions to the Mandal Educational Officers and Headmasters under their jurisdiction to take the following actions:
- Ensure that photographs and event details are uploaded in the LEAP App without fail.
- Update playground details in the LEAP App by 19.06.2025.
- Enroll 100% student details in the LEAP App without fail.
- Organize a Grand Celebration on 21st June 2025, including mass yoga sessions in all schools under all managements.
- Conduct daily one-hour mock yoga sessions in all management schools in the lead-up to the event.
Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education District Educational Officers, District School Educational Officers, and Additional Project Coordinators in the State are requested to givewide publicity and ensure active participation of students, teachers, and staff, and take necessary action to make the programme a grand success.
The Nodal officers of the concerned districts are hereby directed to monitor Yogandhra activities on daily basis see that proper arrangement should made in their districts and submit compliance regularly till completion of the Programme.
