Ref: Decision taken in the weekly review meeting held on 30.05.2023

 

In the weekly Webex meeting held on 30-05-2023 with APCs and DEOs it was brought to the notice of the undersigned that non receipt of Sanitary items and tiles is hampering the progress of Nadu Nedu works.

 

It is observed that Simpolo Company which is supplying sanitary items in the Districts of Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, Manyam, Vizianagaram , Alluri Sitha Rama Raju and Anakapalli Districts has failed to supply sanitary items as per agreed timelines.

 

Similarly Prism Johnson has failed to supply within the agreed timelines to the following Districts.1.Ananthapur 2.Annammayya 3. Chittoor 4.Kurnool 5.Nandyal 6. Sri Sataya sai 7.Tirupati 8. YSR Kadapa.

 

As the above two companies have failed to supply the items within the agreed timelines permission for local purchase of the above items for the District specified is given with the following conditions.

 

(i) Head Masters should not refuse the material sent by the companies which includes material in transit.

(ii) Additional Project Coordinators , District Education Officers, District Vocational Education Officers and Regional Joint Directors (CE) should ensure that any excess material received as per indented quantity is properly distributed to needy schools and colleges.

(iii)While mmaking local purchases the products of the defaulting commpanies should not be purchased.

 

Additional Project Co-ordinators and District Educational Officers should assess the requirement and take up local purchase of the material indicated above and ensure that such material is positioned in the Schools immediately. should adjust the excess material to the needy Schools.

 

M/s. TCS is advised to delete the indents of the above companies for the Districts mentioned above with immediate effect.

 

MD, APEWIDC is advised to formally communicate the cancellation of Indents for failing to supply as per the agreed timelines.

 

Hence, the District Educational Officers and Additional Project Co-ordinator in the State are instructed to circulate the instructions to Field level functionaries and shall follow the instructions scrupulously while implementing the Nadu Nedu Program.
