As per the reference cited above, the MoE, New Delhi has informed that as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has launched an unique initiative , ‘Azadi Quest', on 24^th August 2022, a series of online mobile games to engage citizens of all age The Two games, Azadi Quest: Match 3 Puzzle and Azadi Quest: Highlighting key milestones and heroes of Bharat and to focus on the story of India’s freedom struggle, interwoven with fun game play.

In this connection, the Additional Secretary (SS-I), GoI, MoE, New Delhi has intimated that the content of the games has been curated by the Publication Division of Ministry of Information& Broadcasting, and vetted by experts of the Indian Council of Historical Research, available in both English and Hindi and these games seek to entertain, engage and educate players and users, in line with the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister. Based on the concept of ‘Gamification of Education, which will serve as an important educational tool to learn about India’s freedom struggle for students of all age groups as well as parents and teachers.

The Additional Secretary (SS-I), GoI, MoE, New Delhi has instructed that these Games may be available among children, parents and teachers of educational institutions and other organizations affiliated to Ministry of  Education. They may also like to amplify them through CBSE, KVS, JNV and the State Governments. Therefore all the District Educational Officers& Ex-Officio Project coordinators and all the Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are hereby requested to disseminate the above information to all schools and make program a grand success.
