HQ-PPII03(2)/2/2022-PP_II: Staff Selection Commission will hold an open competitive Examination for recruitment of Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) for various Ministries/Departments/Organizations in the Government of India. The posts are Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), in Level-6 (Rs 35400-112400/-) of pay matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission.

Reservation and suitability of posts for Persons with Disabilities:

• Reservation for Scheduled Castes (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST)/Other Backward Classes (OBC)/Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD), etc would be as determined and communicated by the Indenting Ministries/Departments/Organizations, as per extant Government
• The Commission makes selection of candidates  pursuant  to  the vacancies reported  by  the  concerned  User  Departments  / Organizations for various   The  Commission  does  not  have  any role in deciding the number of vacancies of any User Department / Organization. Implementation of reservation policy, maintaining reservation roster and earmarking of vacancies for different categories comes under the domain of the User Departments / Organizations.
• Junior Engineer being a Group ‘B’ post, there is no reservation for Ex- Servicemen (ESM) category. The guidelines / rules relating to reservation for ESM category included in this Notice have to be read in the light of this stipulation. However, benefit of age-relaxation will be admissible to ESM candidates, as per extant Government Orders

Only male candidates are eligible for the posts of Junior Engineers in the Border Roads Organization (BRO).

 

Age Limit as on 01.01.2022:

Age limit for the various posts of Junior Engineers in various Ministries/Departments/Organizations as on 01.01.2022 is 18 to 32 years. Relaxation applicable for some categories. Permissible relaxation in upper age limit as prescribed in notification.

 

Educational and Other Qualification: Diploma or degree in Engineering

 

How to Apply and Application Fee:

• Applications are required to be submitted in online mode only at the official website of SSC Headquarters; e., https://ssc.nic.in. For detailed instructions, please refer to Annexure-III and Annexure-IV of this Notice. Sample proforma of One-time Registration and online Application Forms are attached as Annexure-IIIA and Annexure-IVA.
• In the online Application Form, candidates are required to  upload  the scanned colour passport size photograph in JPEG format (20  KB  to  50 KB).The photograph should not be more  than  three  months  old  from the date of publication  of  the  Notice  of    Image  dimension of the photograph should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5cm (height). The photograph should be without cap and spectacles.
• If the proper photograph is not uploaded by a candidate, his/her candidature will be Specimen of photographs which are acceptable/not acceptable is given at Annexure-XVI.
• Scanned signature in JPEG format (10 to 20 KB). Image dimension of the signature should be about 0 cm (width)  x  2.0  cm  (height).  Applications with illegible/blurred signature will be rejected.
• Last date and time for submission of online applications is 02.09.2022 (23.00 hours).
• Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/inability or failure to login to the SSC website on account of heavy load on the website during the closing
• The Commission will not be responsible for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the last date on account of the aforesaid reasons or for any other reason beyond the control of the
• Before submission of the online application, candidates must check that they have filled correct details in each field of the
• Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only).
• Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with disabilities (PwD) and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of
• Fee can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card or in cash  at  SBI Branches by generating SBI
• Online fee can be paid by the candidates up to 03.09.2022 (23.00 hours). However, candidates who wish to make the payment through challan of SBI, may make the payment in cash at the designated branches of  SBI within the working hours of bank up to 03.09.2022 provided the challan has been generated by them before 02.09.2022 (2300 hours).
• Application received without the prescribed fee shall not be considered and summarily No representation against such rejection will be entertained
• Candidates who are not exempted from fee payment must ensure that their fee has been deposited with SSC. If the fee is not received by SSC, status of Application Form is shown as ‘Incomplete’ and this information is printed on the top of the Application Form. Further, status of fee payment can be verified at the ‘Payment Status” link provided in the candidate’s login Such applications which remain incomplete due to non-receipt of fee will be SUMMARILY REJECTED and no request  for  consideration of such applications and fee payment after the period specified in the Notice of Examination shall be entertained.
• Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection.

Scheme of Examination:

The Examination will consist of two Papers  i.e. Paper-I (Computer Based Examination) and Paper-II (Descriptive). Details of these Papers are as follows:

సివిల్, మెకానికల్, ఎలక్ట్రికల్, క్వాంటిటీ సర్వేయింగ్ అండ్ కాంట్రాక్ట్స్ బ్రాంచీల్లో డిప్లొమా, సంబంధిత కోర్సుల్లో ఇంజినీరింగ్ చదివినవారికి స్టాఫ్ సెలక్షన్ కమిషన్ జూనియర్ ఇంజినీర్స్ ఉద్యోగ నియామకాలకు ప్రకటన విడుదల చేసింది. దీని ద్వారా ఉద్యోగం పొందినవారు. దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న కేంద్రప్రభుత్వ సంస్థల్లో గ్రూప్-బి (నాన్ గెజిటెడ్) జూనియర్ ఇంజినీర్ పోస్టుల్లో నియమితులవుతారు.

• నియామకాలు- విభాగాలు: జూనియర్ ఇంజినీర్ గా నియమితులైనవారికి కేంద్ర జలసంఘం, సెంట్రల్ పబ్లిక్ వర్క్స్ డిపార్ట్ మెంట్, కేంద్ర జల విద్యుత్ రిసెర్చ్ స్టేషన్, మిలిటరీ ఇంజినీరింగ్ సర్వీస్, బోర్డర్ రోడ్స్ ఆర్గనైజేషన్, ఫరక్కా బ్యారేజ్ ప్రాజెక్టు. నేషనల్ టెక్నికల్ రీసెర్చ్ ఆర్గనైజేషన్, డైరెక్టరేట్ ఆఫ్ క్వాలిటీ అస్యూరెన్స్, పోర్ట్స్, షిప్పింగ్ వాటర్చేస్ తదితర సంస్థల్లో సంబంధిత విభాగంలో పనిచేసే అవకాశం.

• అర్హతలు: డిప్లొమా (సివిల్/ మెకానికల్/ ఎలక్ట్రికల్) / తత్సమాన డిగ్రీ చదివినవారు అర్హులు. 

• వయోపరిమితి: పోస్టులకు అనుగుణంగా 18-32 సంత్సరాల వయసు ఉండాలి. వివిధ కేటగిరీల వారికి వయోపరితుల్లో సడలింపులు ఉన్నాయి. భారతీయులై ఉండాలి. కొన్ని కేటగిరీలవారికి మినహాయింపులు ఉన్నాయి.

• జీత భత్యాలు: సెవెన్త్ పే స్కేలు ప్రకారం రూ.35,400- రూ.1,12,400 ఉంటుంది. 

• పరీక్ష విధానం: ఇది రెండు అంచెల్లో ఉంటుంది. పేపర్-1, పేపర్-2 ఉంటాయి. పేపర్-1 ఆన్లైన్ విధానంలో(కంప్యూటర్ బేస్డ్ టెస్ట్) ఆబ్జెక్టివ్ తరహాలో నిర్వహిస్తారు. పేపర్-2 ఆఫ్లైన్లో జరిగే (డిస్క్రిప్టివ్) రాత పరీక్ష పేపర్-1లో మొత్తం 200 మార్కులకు.. 200 ప్రశ్నలు ఉంటాయి. పరీక్ష వ్యవధి రెండు గంటలు. పేపర్-2లో పెన్ అండ్ పేపర్ విధానంలో నిర్వహించే డిస్క్రిప్టివ్ పరీక్ష. పేపర్ -2 మొత్తం 300 మార్కులకు జరుగుతుంది. పరీక్ష సమయం రెండు గంటలు.

• తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో పరీక్షకేంద్రాలు: హైదరాబాద్, కరీంనగర్, వరంగల్, చీరాల, గుంటూరు, కాకినాడ, కర్నూలు, నెల్లూరు, రాజమండ్రి, తిరుపతి, విజయవాడ, విశాఖపట్నం, విజయనగరం.

• దరఖాస్తు: ఆన్లైన్ ద్వారా దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవాలి.

• ఆన్లైన్ దరఖాస్తు తేదీలు: 12.08.2022 నుంచి 02.09.2022 వరకు.
