Diploma courses and duration of the course: 

The University has established Polytechnics in various places in the State of Andhra Pradesh and also accorded affiliation to a few Private Polytechnics to boost the agriculture and allied sector and to generate technically trained manpower. 

Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) offers following Four Diploma Programmes:

1. Diploma in Agriculture : 2 Years 

2. Diploma in Seed Technology : 2 Years 

3. Diploma in Organic Agriculture : 2 Years 

4. Diploma in Agricultural Engineering : 3 Years 

(All the Diploma courses offered by ANGRAU are in English Medium).

1. Diploma in Animal Husbandry: 2 Years (Medium – English)

Eligibility: 

The candidates should fulfill the following criteria i) The candidates who wish to seek admission into Diploma Courses should have rank in AGRI POLYCET-2022 conducted by ANGRAU, Lam, Guntur on 01.07.2022. 

ii) Candidate should have passed SSC Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, A.P./T.S. or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P./T.S. such as Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), Telangana Open School Society (TOSS). 

Age Limit: Candidates who wish to seek admission into these courses shall have to complete 15 years of age as on 31-08-2022 with an upper age limit of 22 years (Born in between 31.08.2000 and 31.08.2007).

Original certificates to be produced at the time of Counselling/Admission: 

• SSC Memorandum of Marks or Equivalent Examination Certificate. 
• AGRIPOLYCET-2022 Rank Card. 
• Bonafide / Study Certificate from 4th to 10th Class. 
• Transfer certificate of SSC 
• Non-Municipal Area Study Certificate (FORM-I enclosed in this prospectus). 
• The latest certified copy of the Social Status (Caste) Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of applicants belonging to EWS, Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
• Physically Challenged Certificate, if applicable. 
• Discharge Certificate and ID card for Children of Armed Personnel Certificate / Defense Personnel Certificate, if applicable. 
• National Cadet Corps (NCC) certificate, if applicable. 
• Sports and Games Certificates (Form-I/Form-II/Form-III/Form-IV as applicable). 
• Income certificate for the candidates who applied under EWS only
