All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State are informed that in the reference cited, the Secretary to Govt., Energy department has informed that the BEE,
Ministry of Power (MoP), Govt. Of India has been conducting National Energy Conservation Week from the period 14th December to 20th December every year.
As part of this National Energy Conservation Week, APSECM, State Designated agency of BEE, GoI is planning to organize Short Video Competition in each and every school on the various topics related
to awareness on Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation for 8th, 9th and 10th standard students.
Further, the 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes winners at State level will be awarded with cash award & merit certificate and also the short listed videos from all districts other than state level winners (top three) will get merit certificate from CEO APSECM during one of the Day in the National Energy Conservation Week2020. The Short Video length shall be less than 2 Minutes with content on the Importance of Energy
Efficiency and Energy Conservation. These videos shall also be posted in APSECM website and social media platforms also.
Therefore, all the District Educational Officers are requested to ensure conducting of the Short Video competition in all schools on the various topics related to awareness on Energy Efficiency and Energy
Conservation for 8th, 9th and 10th standard students, and to short list three best videos in their respective district and the same may be sent to APSECM to mail id : firstname.lastname@example.org on or before 10th December -2020 to select the state level winners.
