Regional Joint Directors (RJDSEs and District Educational Officers (DEOs) of
Visakhapatam, Vizianagaram, Nellore, Srikakulam, East Godavari, Guntur,
Prakasam, Chittoor, Anantapur and West Godavari are informed that the NCERT
planned five days training programme for teachers on guidance for socially
disadvantaged students in the
2nd/3rd week of January,
2019 in collaboration with GCERT, Gujarat. The objective of the programme is to
sensitize teachers towards the needs of socially disadvantaged students,
understand various constitutional/Institutional provisions and concessions, understand
role of teachers in holistic development of students, and enable them to
provide guidance to these students through various guidance techniques.
District
Educational Officers (DEOs) of above mentioned districts are requested to
kindly depute teachers as mentioned in the Annexure. As the programme is
designed to focus on high concentrated SC/5T population districts, preference
may be given to teachers from SC/ST categories and women.
List of teachers working in SC/ST populated areas from the districts should be submitted to the office of SCERT on or before 08.12.2018 without fail. The programme details will be sent later.
