**Revised Cooking Costs**
- The Government of India has approved an increase in the material cost (cooking cost) for the PM POSHAN scheme for the academic year 2024-25.
- The revised cooking costs for various educational categories are as follows:
- Primary (Classes I-V): Increased from ₹5.45 to ₹6.19, effective from 19-02-2025.
- Upper Primary (Classes VI-VIII): Increased from ₹8.17 to ₹9.29, effective from 19-02-2025.
- High Schools (Classes IX-X) and Government Junior Colleges (1st & 2nd year): Increased from ₹8.17 to ₹9.29, effective from
