ORDER
In the reference read above the Former Special Chief Secretary, Govt of AP & Hon. Chairperson, IRCS, A.P has stated that the Indian Red Cross promote a spirit of service and to build awareness relating to cleanliness, hygiene, waste management, environmental protection and social issues, has decided to institute awards for institutions and individuals involved in these activities.
The awards will be given to institutions, the Nodal Officers and the Youth Red Cross and Junior Red Cross volunteers who perform the best in the following categories:
i Cleanliness, Hygiene and Green Cover in the campus
ii Conservation of Energy and Water in the Campus
iii Waste Management in the Campus iv Awareness on Social Concerns
2. She has requested the Government to issue necessary instructions to all the Educational Institutions namely, High schools, Junior Colleges and Degree Colleges to get themselves enrolled for the awards Programme.
3. Government after careful examination of the matter hereby instructed to the Commissioner of School Education, A.P., Ibrahimpatnam, the Commissioner of Intermediate Education, Guntur, Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Commissioner of Technical Education, Vijayawada and Secretary APSCHE to give detailed guidelines and instructions to all the educational institutions namely, High schools, Junior Colleges, Degree Colleges and Universities to get institutions and students enrolled for the awards Programme and participate in the programme. All the above HOD will send a periodical report to Govt in this regard for effective implementation of this programme.
